\n\nPurpose of Job\nThe Analyst assists with the implementation, support and maintenance of EBRD's platforms and software solutions.\nThe Analyst operates within the Squad as an individual contributor to develop/maintain code or infrastructure, as part of the lifecycle management of the Bank systems.\nAccountabilities & Responsibilities\nAssists in building AI solutions using Azure AI Services, Prompt Flow, and Azure AI Search (Vector Store).\nWrites clean, testable code and assists in peer code reviews. \nSupports the setup of automated testing and observability within CI/CD pipelines.\nContributes to the validation and tuning of models to ensure performance and data quality, adhering to AI fairness and explainability principles.\nParticipates in the refinement of AI/ML user stories and contributes to backlog grooming, estimation, and agile ceremonies.\nSupports the delivery of small to medium AI features in coordination with MLOps and Product teams.\nContributes to the promotion of engineering best practices and responsible AI standards.\nSupports continuous improvement and innovation within the squad.\nSupports the team by conducting technical spikes for new initiatives, under guidance where required.\nAssists with the deployment of training and inference pipelines to shared development environments such as Azure ML and Prompt Flow.\nKnowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications\nHolds a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related technical discipline.\nPrevious experience working with Python.[RT1.1]\nDemonstrates foundational understanding of machine learning concepts, model lifecycle and data processing principles.\nBasic understanding of Software Development principles, including writing unit and integration tests.\nDemonstrates problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.\nAble to follow guidance and apply structured approaches to technical challenges.\nFamiliar with Agile ways of working and collaborative development practices (e.g. Scrum, Kanban).\nBasic understanding of version control systems (e.g. Git) and collaborative tooling (e.g. GitHub, Jira, Confluence).\nEffective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document work clearly.\nCurious, proactive and eager to learn in a hands-on engineering environment.\nDemonstrates an awareness of responsible AI principles such as fairness, transparency and explainability.\nAble to work in a diverse, multicultural team setting and follow standard delivery processes.\nFamiliarity with containerisation using Docker is desirable.\nHands-on experience or academic exposure to Python for data science or AI/ML development.\nBasic understanding of RESTful API design principles.\nFamiliar with model development workflows, including training, evaluation and basic tuning.\nExposure to tools such as Azure ML, Prompt Flow, or similar cloud ML platforms.\nBasic understanding of AI/ML application types such as chatbots, recommendation systems, or RAG.\nSupports building and testing ML models, preparing datasets and writing testable code.\nExposure to vector search, embeddings, or retrieval techniques is desirable.\nAssists with basic ML pipeline configuration under guidance.\nAbility to write clear technical documentation and maintain API specifications using Open API 3.0+\nBasic understanding of System Design and Architecture\nBasic understanding of microservices architecture and distributed system design.\nFamiliarity
