The broad scope of this role will allow you to design and support networks spanning, routing & switching - through internetworking to perimeter services such as WAF, DDoS protection and VPN.\nThis role is tailor-made for a networking pro with deep technical expertise and the certifications to back it up - think Azure Network Engineer Associate or Cisco CCNP. Whether you’re configuring network security groups, optimizing identity and access flows, or working alongside managed service partners, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering secure cloud connectivity at scale. If you're ready to shape cloud-first network strategies with enterprise impact, let’s connect.\nAccountabilities & Responsibilities\nTechnology experience in this area includes but is not limited to:\nMicrosoft Azure.\nInternet working in hyperscale cloud environments.\nHybrid and multi-cloud networking including peering.\nSecure segregation of tenants, landing zones, subscriptions, and networks utilising: traditional networking methods, network security group and security appliances.\nDesign, Implement & Support of networks which underpin wider non-functional requirements such as scalability, security, availability, & performance.\nWeb Application Firewalls (WAFs) - SaaS / on Prem / Azure.\nSSL VPNs.\nLoad balancing, including Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB).\nPerimeter Security, including firewalls, intrusion detection/ prevention (IDS/IPS), anti-malware and threat prevention (Microsoft, Check Point, Palo Alto Networks and Cisco).\nDDoS Protection services.\nCloud identity and access management solutions (in the context of network interactions).\nKnowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications\nDesigning, Implementing and Supporting cloud network technologies\nWorking with Managed Service Providers and Professional Service Partners\nIntermediate to advanced technology certification in the given specialism such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate or Cisco CCNP\nEntry level service management certification such a ITIL Foundation.\nThe Platform Engineer responsible for cloud networks is in addition, expected to have a foundational knowledge of enterprise networking (routing & switching) and security\nWhat is it like to work at the EBRD? / About EBRD\nOur agile and innovative approach is what makes life at the EBRD a unique experience!
