If you thrive on solving technical challenges, advocating best practices, and working across the full SDLC in a supportive yet ambitious team, this is your chance to make an impact.\nAccountabilities & Responsibilities\nSoftware Design and Development\nEnables the design, development, testing, and maintenance of high-quality software solutions using Angular and Strong Typescript, operating without supervision.\nWrites clear, maintainable, and well-documented code.\nResponsible for developing and maintaining scalable front-end applications.\nConfident in decision making and contributes to the implementation of designs produced by the UX/UI team.\nQuality Assurance\nResponsible for code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices for Angular development.\nWrites unit and integration tests using frameworks to ensure code quality.\nManages complexity holistically by implementing automated testing frameworks and tools to ensure the reliability and performance of front-end solutions.\nEnsures non-functional requirements such as performance, security, and scalability are met.\nFollows guidelines to maintain a consistent and high-quality user experience across all front-end applications.\nOperations, Maintenance, Support, and Documentation\nParticipates in the deployment and release processes, ensuring smooth rollouts of new features.\nMonitors production systems, investigates issues, and provides timely resolutions.\nMaintains clear documentation of code and processes specific to Angular projects.\nProvides ongoing support and troubleshooting for front-end solutions.\nFacilitates effective communication and collaboration between the development and UX/UI teams.\nData and Architecture\nAssists in defining scalable system architectures and patterns for front-end development.\nContributes to architectural decisions that align with organisational needs.\nUnderstands the bigger picture and supports the overall system design.\nEvaluates and recommends best practices for integrating Angular with external systems and third-party services.\nKnowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications\nEducated to degree level in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).\nStrong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular, including state management (e.g., NgRx).\nIn-depth knowledge of SDLC, software design principles, and architectural patterns.\nStrong experience with unit testing (Jasmine/Karma) and E2E testing (Cypress).\nDeep understanding of CSS preprocessors (Sass) and responsive design best practices.\nHands-on experience with micro frontend architecture and module federation.\nProficiency in Git, branching strategies, and code review processes.\nExperience integrating RESTful APIs and working with GraphQL clients.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and configuring automated build tools.\nExposure to containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (Azure).\nAbility to optimize frontend performance and implement security best practices.\nFamiliarity with progressive web apps (PWA) and accessibility (a11y) standards.\nUnderstanding of OAuth, JWT, and API security best practices.\nKeeping up with emerging technologies and sharing knowledge with the team.\nAbility to independently develop complex features and troubleshoot issues.\nExcellent communication and ability to explain technical concepts to stakeholders.\nStrong collaboration with Product Owners, UX/UI, and DevOps teams.\nMentorship of junior developers and code review participation.\nStrong organisational skills and ability to work on multiple tasks.\nCritical thinking and ability to propose scalable solutions.\nWhat is it like to work at the EBRD? / About EBRD\nOur agile and innovative approach is what makes life at the EBRD a unique experience!
