We encourage innovation and movement, collaboration and problem-solving, and foster an environment where everyone can feel they belong, are valued, supported and empowered to succeed.\nIf you’re a collaborator who wants to help transform how businesses operate globally, get in touch - we’d love to discuss how Ebury can accelerate your career so you can shape the future.\nData Analyst - FCC Reporting\nLocation: Málaga or Madrid (Spain) - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week\nEbury’s strategic growth plan would not be possible without our Data Analytics & Compliance team and we are seeking aData Analyst to join our Regulatory FinCrime Compliance domain!\nOur data mission is to enable effective risk detection, monitoring and regulatory compliance through robust data models, scalable analytics and high quality reporting. \nThe team works closely with Compliance, Risk and Product to design and implement data-driven controls, detection mechanisms, and investigative tools across multiple jurisdictions.\nProjects range from building curated data models to cover global key risk indicators for financial crime compliance and automating into standardised board packs, to scaling our regulatory reporting engine to incorporate datasets specific to transaction monitoring, screening and client KYC.\nAs part of the team you will \nDesign and maintain data models and datasets used for transaction monitoring, customer risk scoring, and financial crime investigations.\nOwn end-to-end delivery of FinCrime analytics solutions: requirements gathering, data extraction, transformation, validation, and deployment. \nDevelop and optimise detection logic and monitoring rules (e.g. transaction monitoring scenarios, anomaly detection, behavioural patterns).\nPerform data quality checks and controls to ensure completeness, accuracy, and auditability of FinCrime datasets.\nBuild dashboards and analytical tools (Looker / Looker Studio or similar) for monitoring risk exposure, alerts, and investigation pipelines.\nSupport regulatory and internal audits, providing traceability of data, methodologies, and controls.\nContribute to the automation and continuous improvement of FinCrime processes (screening, monitoring, alert handling).\nWhat we’re looking for \n2-5 years Experience in Data/Business Analytics - preferably within FinCrime, Compliance, Risk, or Financial Services.\nAdvanced SQL skills - able to read and write queries across complex datasets.\nExperience with our modern data stack tools is a plus: dbt, Google Cloud BigQuery, Looker / Looker Studio, Git.\nExperience building data pipelines, transformations, and analytical datasets.\nSolid understanding of financial crime frameworks.\nExperience working with Python is desirable.\nKnowledge of payment flows, FX, or banking products is desirable.\nStrong analytical thinking with focus on data quality, controls, and risk interpretation.\nExperience working with transaction monitoring systems or alerting frameworks is a plus.\nAbility to translate regulatory and compliance requirements into data logic.\nFluency in English (Spanish, a plus)\nWhat Ebury offers you\nCompetitive salary conditions\nPrivate health insurance, gympass and access to Meditopia\nSupport to progress your career in the Data & Analytics world\nWork in a collaborative environment and contribute to a new data infrastructure built on a modern data stack\nFlexible workplace environment (hybrid model, 4 days office / 1 day remote)\n23 days of annual leave plus your birthday off and all the Málaga public holidays.\nFun in-person off-sites and virtual get-togethers\nPersonal development including language courses\nAbout us\nEbury delivers sophisticated, integrated solutions - business accounts, hedging, and financing - on a single platform with a seamless workflow.
