Role Overview

The MSSP Partner Development Manager identifies, recruits, and manages managed security service providers (MSSPs) that can bring Business to their customers. This role owns the partner relationship from initial outreach through onboarding, joint sales activity, and ongoing account growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Scout partners: Research and qualify MSSPs by market coverage, customer base, service portfolio, and fit with Business.
• Recruit partners: Lead outreach, discovery, product presentations, and commercial discussions with prospective MSSPs.
• Onboard partners: Coordinate training, platform access, sales materials, and initial customer opportunities with internal teams.
• Manage relationships: Serve as the main contact for assigned MSSPs, maintain account plans, and run regular business reviews.
• Build joint pipeline: Support partner campaigns, customer demonstrations, proposals, and deal progression.
• Resolve issues: Coordinate with customer service, delivery, and product teams when partners need help with implementations or support.
• Track performance: Report on recruited partners, active partners, partner-sourced pipeline, revenue, and customer adoption.
  

Qualifications

• Experience recruiting and growing relationships with MSSPs, MSPs, or security resellers.
• Ability to explain cybersecurity awareness programs to both commercial and technical audiences.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, account planning, and CRM skills.
• Experience working across regions and with partner-led sales cycles is an advantage.
• 7+ years in channel sales, partner management, or business development, preferably in cybersecurity or B2B SaaS.
  

Measures of success

Qualified MSSPs recruited, partners actively selling Business, partner-sourced pipeline and revenue, successful onboarding, and retention and growth of partner accounts.
