The Project Manager typically oversees 3-5 active projects either as the primary or as a support to a Senior Project Manager.\nDuties and Responsibilities include the following:\nManaging all business aspects of multiple concurrent projects typically $3.5 to $5 million annually. Ensuring financial targets are met while maintaining established quality standards. \nCompletes Pre-Job tasks such as Viewpoint Pre-Job checklists, meetings and EC Contract content review. \nReview and obtain signatures from General Contractor for vital documents such as a non-disclosure, vendor and supplier agreements. \nDevelop and communicate the project execution plan to necessary parties. \nAccountable for contract management, proper project documentation, claims and disputes resolutions. \nWork with the Estimating department to review estimates, RECAPS and turnover as well as the ability to estimate and procure electrical projects in a competitive market successfully. \nProvides mentoring for assistant project managers and staff on their project team. \nPro-actively maintaining customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and quality of service. \nUnderstand General Contractor’s (GC) cost reporting and management plan, proactively communicating GC expectations. \nManaging all activities associated with materials, budgeting, and production for assigned project(s). \nActing as liaison with the customer and project staff to properly identify and process scope changes, address issues and communicate with GC regarding project milestones, etc. \nManaging project related correspondence and documents through designated document management systems. \nEnsure adherence to EC Electric’s standards of quality, safety, and best practices. \nDevelop and maintain EC Electric resource loaded master schedule. \nSet cash flow goals, update schedule of values and establish check signer for emergencies. \nGenerate MOP’s and review detailed three-week look ahead schedule for projects \nEnsure and actively managing crew composite factor by comparing budgeted numbers to actual. \nUnderstand and follow GC’s master control program with regards to documents. \nCreate construction estimate to align with project workflow, customers master schedule. \nComplete project audit checklists and retain with other vital project documents. \nRegularly coordinate owner/GC weekly meetings to ensure ongoing open communication. \nOversight of OFCI equipment tracking, EC equipment receiving and quality control plan and management. \nAccurate monthly financial forecast for all projects. \nOther tasks as assigned.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field; equivalent industry experience may also be considered. \n 5+ years of project management experience in commercial electrical construction, with direct responsibility for multiple concurrent projects and annual project portfolios in the $3.5M-$5M+ range. \n Strong financial and contract management expertise, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, change orders, claims resolution, cost control, and contract administration. \n Demonstrated experience collaborating with General Contractors (GCs), subcontractors, vendors, and owners, with a proven ability to build long-term customer relationships and deliver exceptional client service. \n Knowledge of construction scheduling and project controls, including resource-loaded schedules, look-ahead planning, project forecasting, and document management systems such as Viewpoint or similar construction management software. \n Solid estimating and procurement experience, including reviewing estimates, managing project turnover processes, purchasing materials, and supporting competitive bid opportunities. \n Strong leadership and team development skills, with experience mentoring Assistant Project Managers, field staff, and project teams while driving accountability and project performance. \n Commitment to safety and quality standards, including knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety best practices, quality assurance programs, risk management, and creating an injury-free work environment. \nBenefits\nSalary range for this position is $115,000-$180,000 annually.\nOpportunity for a discretionary year-end bonus.\n401k with a 40% employer match (up to federal limit.)\nPlease find more information on our compensation package here.\nhttps://ecpowerslife.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/EC-Benefit-Summary-Applicants.pdf \nIn addition to significant career growth opportunities, full-time employees enjoy a competitive pay rate, paid holidays and PTO; Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, 401k plan and Employee Assistance Program.\n__________________________________________________________________________________________\nEC Electric is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and supports a drug free workplace program.
