You'll be building real AI features, working with the latest models and tools, and helping us bring intelligent solutions into production.\nFrom RAG pipelines and agentic workflows to AWS Bedrock and Claude Code, you'll have the opportunity to work with some of the most exciting technologies in AI engineering.\nYou'll join a collaborative, Agile engineering team where experimentation is encouraged, ideas are welcomed and you'll have plenty of opportunities to develop your skills.\nIf you're already building with AI, constantly exploring what's next and excited about turning emerging technology into something genuinely useful, we'd love to hear from you.\nWhat will you be doing?\nQuite a lot of interesting stuff, actually.\nBuilding real AI solutions: Design, develop and deliver AI-powered features using technologies such as Claude, OpenAI, Gemini and open-weight models.\nMaking RAG work: Build and improve retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, working with embeddings, vector databases and retrieval techniques to deliver reliable results.\nExploring agentic AI: Help develop intelligent agents and workflows using AWS Bedrock, with opportunities to work with AgentCore and agent orchestration frameworks.\nWorking AI-first: Use Claude Code as part of your everyday engineering workflow, helping us develop smarter ways of designing, building and delivering software.\nMaking AI better: Evaluate and monitor AI performance, identifying opportunities to improve quality, reliability, speed and cost.\nBuilding responsibly: Help ensure our AI solutions are secure, trustworthy and developed with appropriate governance, privacy and safeguards.\nCollaborating and innovating: Work closely with engineers, product teams and other specialists to turn ideas into working solutions.\nAnd because AI never stands still, neither will you. We want someone who enjoys experimenting, sharing ideas and challenging how things are done.\nRequirements\nWe're open to junior and mid-level engineers, so we're particularly interested in your practical experience, technical foundations and enthusiasm for AI.Ideally, you'll bring:\nAround 2-5 years of software development experience, including hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications.\nStrong development skills in Python and/or TypeScript, alongside solid software engineering fundamentals.\nPractical experience working with LLM APIs, including Claude, OpenAI or Gemini.\nExperience building and deploying RAG solutions, including embeddings, vector databases and retrieval optimisation.\nHands-on experience running open-source or open-weight models, such as Llama, Mistral or Qwen.\nPractical experience using Claude Code, including its workflows, plugins, skills and other development capabilities.\nExperience with AWS Bedrock, including model integration and associated services.\nAn understanding of responsible AI, including governance, data privacy, security and appropriate safeguards.\nExperience working in an Agile software engineering environment.\nMost importantly, you'll be curious, proactive and comfortable learning in a field that changes almost daily.\nYou'll enjoy collaborating with others, taking ownership of your work and explaining complex technical ideas without making everyone's head spin.\nA few bonus points if you have...\nAgentic AI development, multi-agent systems or orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph or Strands Agents.\nAmazon Bedrock AgentCore.\nLLM evaluation and observability tools.\nBuilding MCP servers or integrating external tools with AI agents.\nTechnologies such as Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, Docker or Terraform.\nDeveloping AI features within a multi-tenant B2B SaaS environment.\nYou don't need to tick every bonus box.
