We are now seeking to engage a Back-End Developer to join our dynamic development team.\nAbout the Role\nWith a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a software development role, you are proficient in OO languages (especially Java and related technologies), have experience in building enterprise grade systems which are robust, scalable, highly performant and secure, and are open to learn the latest cutting edge technologies and patterns.\nResponsibilities\nContribute to the delivery of systems that will continue changing the entire way we travel and create new ecosystems of personal mobility.\n\nWork with development teams and product managers to create and enhance software systems in line with business strategy and priorities.\n\nBuild, test and deploy software in line with the company’s standards, best practices and versioning tools.\n\nFollow agile principles and methodologies embraced by software development teams.\n\nPerform the necessary research on technologies and patterns to ensure quality of products.\n\nTake part in architectural design discussions.\n\nWrite technical and user documentation when necessary.\n\nRequirements\nMust-Have:\nStrong experience with Java, especially Spring Boot.\n\nExposure to or interest in Quarkus and cloud-native Java frameworks.\n\nHands-on experience with RESTful API design and implementation.\n\nSolid understanding of relational databases like PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server.\n\nFamiliarity with NoSQL systems like MongoDB.\n\nExperience with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Google Pub/Sub.\n\nPractical knowledge of Redis for caching and performance optimization.\n\nExperience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and working in agile teams.\n\nNice-to-Have:\nExposure to cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\n\nFamiliarity with BigQuery for analytics and large-scale data queries.\n\nKnowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).\n\nInterest in performance tuning and backend system
