This position will support large federal government construction projects for the Department of Defense (DoD) clients. There will also be planning, coordination, and execution of engineering and construction activities to ensure compliance with contract requirements, regulatory standards, and ECC procedures. In this position, you will:\nAssist in the preparation and review engineering reports, plans, submittals, and project documentation\nReview, interpret, and update drawings, specifications, and as-built documents\nPerform field inspections and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, safety, and quality requirements\nTrack scope, schedule, budget, quantities, and production rates for assigned tasks\nCoordinate with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, clients, and ECC personnel\nAssist with RFP development, subcontract scope packages, proposal evaluations, and procurement activities\nInspect delivered materials and equipment and verify compliance with contract requirements\nMaintain daily logs, field reports, meeting minutes, quality and safety documentation\nApply federal regulations, DoD criteria, USACE QC requirements, FAR, OSHA, and applicable codes and standards\nPerform additional project controls, estimating, safety, quality, or technical duties as assigned\nIn addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position\nRequirements\nEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or successful completion of the EIT exam\nOne(1) to three(3) years of construction management or construction engineering experience, preferably on federal projects\nWorking knowledge of DoD, USACE, OSHA, FAR, and federal construction standards\nAbility to analyze technical data, solve moderately complex problems, and apply engineering principles\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to manage multiple priorities independently and work effectively in a team environment\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and standard project software\nAbility and willingness to work on-site with periodic travel as required\n Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural), Architecture, or closely related field from an accredited institution\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience on DoD or other federal construction projects\nFamiliarity with quality control, safety programs, and construction documentation\nAutoCAD experience\nExperience with survey equipment, GPS, or construction field technology\nECC targeted salary range for Hawaii is $65,000 to $85,000 annually.\nActual salary offered may be affected by education, training, certifications, experience, skills, level of responsibility, and location.\nBenefits Offered for Full-Time positions:\nMedical/Dental/Prescription/Vision Insurance\nLife Insurance, Long Term Disability Insurance\nPaid Time off and Holiday Pay\n401k with deferral matching, ESOP, Student Debt Reduction Program\nFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA)\nEducational Assistance, Mentorship Program, ECC University\nEmployee Referral Bonus Program\nCompany-matching charitable giving program\nECC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
