In this position, you will be responsible for implementing and managing the project's quality control program to ensure all work is performed in accordance with contract requirements, approved plans and specifications, applicable regulations, and industry standards. The Quality Control Manager will work closely with project staff, subcontractors, and client representatives to maintain compliance throughout all phases of construction. In this position, you will:\nWork on-site to ensure construction activities are performed in accordance with contract specifications, approved submittals, applicable codes, and project requirements\nManage and implement the project Quality Control Plan and associated quality management processes\nCoordinate and document the Three-Phase Control Process, including Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-Up inspections\nConduct and document inspections to verify compliance with project requirements\nReview and coordinate submittals, RFIs, testing requirements, and quality-related project documentation\nEnsure that all materials and equipment received on-site comply with contract requirements and approved submittals\nMonitor subcontractor performance and verify compliance with quality standards\nCoordinate testing activities and maintain accurate quality control records\nPrepare quality reports, logs, deficiency notices, and corrective action documentation\nWork closely with project management, subcontractors, and client representatives to resolve quality concerns\nMaintain organized project records and ensure all required documentation is uploaded to project management systems in a timely manner\nParticipate in project meetings and client communications as required\nPerform additional duties as assigned in support of project objectives\nRequirements:\nMinimum five (5) years of Quality Control experience; up to two (2) years of experience as an Assistant Quality Control Manager may be counted toward this requirement\nQualifying experience must have been obtained within the last ten (10) years\nExperience as a Site Superintendent or Quality Control Manager on similar size and type construction contracts\nExperience with fuels-related major construction trades, including Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and Coatings work\nEquivalent commercial construction experience may be considered if it includes Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and Coatings trades\nExperience and knowledge using Air Force standards for tank inspection and repairs\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to effectively coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and construction management software\n Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
