Whether you are a senior-level contract manager ready to broaden your responsibilities or an experienced contracts director seeking greater strategic impact, ECC provides a clear path for professional growth.\nWorking closely with project teams, executive leadership, government contracting officials, and subcontractors, you will play a critical role in ensuring contractual compliance, managing risk, supporting project execution, and strengthening contract administration practices throughout the organization.\nWhat You'll Do\nAdminister and manage federal prime contracts and subcontracts throughout the entire contract lifecycle, from solicitation and award through performance and closeout.\nServe as a primary point of contact with Government Contracting Officers and agency representatives regarding contractual matters.\nAdvise project teams on contract requirements, change management, requests for equitable adjustment (REAs), and subcontract administration.\nSupport and negotiate contract modifications, task orders, claims, and other contractual actions.\nEnsure compliance with FAR, DFARS, agency-specific regulations, and contractual requirements. \nAdminister non-FAR related contract including OTAs and other non-traditional Government contracts.\nProvide guidance and training to project personnel regarding contract administration, change order management, subcontracting requirements, and compliance obligations.\nSupport proposal development efforts, including contract review, subcontracting strategies, cost and pricing requirements, and Small Business Subcontracting Plans (SBSPs).\nParticipate in procurement activities, source selection, cost and price analysis, negotiations, and subcontract administration.\nSupport subcontractor performance management, compliance monitoring, and dispute resolution.\nAssist with CPARS evaluations and responses.\nContribute to the development and improvement of contract policies, procedures, internal controls, and best practices.\nFor candidates at the Contracts Director level, supervise contracts staff, provide leadership, mentorship, and development of Contracts personnel while helping shape the strategic direction of the Contracts function.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Business, Contract Management, or a related field. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. \nTen or more years of federal prime contract administration experience supporting government contracts.\nExtensive knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and federal contracting requirements.\nDemonstrated experience supporting complex contract administration activities, including contract compliance, subcontract management, modifications, claims, and closeout.\nStrong written, verbal, negotiation, and analytical skills.\nAbility to effectively collaborate with project teams, senior leadership, government representatives, and subcontractors.\nCPCM certification or ability to obtain.\nAbility and willingness to travel periodically as project and business needs require.\nAdditional Qualifications for Contracts Director Level\nExperience leading, mentoring, and supervising contracts personnel.\nDemonstrated success developing processes, training programs, and compliance initiatives.\nAbility to influence business decisions and support strategic organizational objectives.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, or a related discipline, or Juris Doctor degree \nFive or more years supporting federal construction, design-build, environmental remediation, infrastructure, or contingency operations projects.\nExperience working with Department of Defense or other federal agency contracts.\nAdvanced experience negotiating complex contractual and subcontracting matters.\nWhy Join ECC?\nECC is an employee-owned company, meaning your contributions directly support the success of both our projects and our employee owners.
