Our high-performance radars work in all weather and are designed for autonomous vehicles, uncrewed aircraft & drones, security of borders, critical infrastructure, and smart cities. As a Principal Program Manager, you will have a critical role in Echodyne’s relentless pursuit of delivering industry best advanced radar solutions to our customers. You will lead cross functional teams to develop test equipment that contributes to meeting Echodyne’s business growth objectives. The scope of this role includes development of a variety of hardware/software products. \nRESPONSIBILITIES\nDeliver innovative products and solutions that exceed customer expectations and advance Echodyne’s core technology differentiation\nDefine, plan, and manage complex development programs\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, systems engineers, radar scientists, manufacturing engineers and sourcing\nTrack and report program status and metrics\nDrive continuous improvements in product development methodologies\nREQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE\nAbility to identify solutions to challenging programmatic problems that optimize results for Echodyne and our customers\nAbility to weigh risks and drive clear decisions based on available information\nAbility to lead engineering and research teams to achieve objectives\nExperience managing external development partners\nExperience leading hardware and embedded software development programs\nEffective communication and presentations skills\nBuilding collaborative relationships both internally and externally\nDESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE (Looking for one or more as a complement to the core skills) \nExperience developing test equipment for use in manufacturing environment\nExperience using Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools or software\nExperience using project management tools, such as MS Project, MS Excel, and JIRA\nQUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor's degree in engineering, other technical degrees, or equivalent work experience\n8 years or more in technical program management, with at least 3 years leading hardware development efforts\nEchodyne’s technology is export controlled by the U.S. Government and we must evaluate an applicant’s eligibility to handle export-controlled information or obtain required Government authorizations.
