Echodyne offers its radars to companies working in Automotive, Transportation, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Border Security, Smart Cities, Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS), and Airspace Management including Urban Air Mobility (UTM).\nEchodyne is seeking a Product Manager to join our fast-growing team. \nROLE OVERVIEW\nEchodyne is seeking a Product Manager to support the development and delivery of EchoWare, our radar software product. This role turns established product priorities into clear, actionable work for Engineering and helps ensure delivered functionality meets product requirements. \nRESPONSIBILITIES\nBreak product requirements and epics into well-scoped user stories with clear workflows, edge cases and testable acceptable criteria.\nMaintain and prioritize the EchoWare backlog in Jira, keeping upcoming work ready for development and aligned with established product and release priorities.\nLead backlog refinement with Engineering and sequence work around priorities and technical dependencies.\nServe as the day-to-day Product contact during development, resolving requirements questions and documenting decisions and changes.\nMake tactical product decisions within established direction; escalate changes affecting scope, priorities, product intent, or customer commitments.\nPartner with Engineering, UX, and Test to resolve tradeoffs, agree on what done means, and validate delivered functionality against requirements.\nCapture defects, limitations, and follow-up work and bring customer and field feedback back to the Product team.\nBuild working knowledge of EchoWare, customer workflows, integrations, and operational use cases to inform product decisions.\nREQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE\n2+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or a related software product role.\nExperience working with software engineering teams through development and release.\nAbility to translate product requirements into clear user stories and testable acceptance criteria.\nExperience maintaining and refining product backlogs in Jira or a similar tool.\nWorking knowledge of Agile development practices and the ability to understand technical tradeoffs and dependencies.\nStrong written and verbal communication with excellent attention to detail.\nAbility to operate effectively in a technical, fast-moving environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.\nDESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE \nFamiliarity with radar, sensor software, defense, security, or airspace management applications.\nEchodyne’s technology is export controlled by the U.S. Government and we must evaluate an applicant’s eligibility to handle export-controlled information or obtain required Government authorizations.
