Echodyne offers its radars to companies working in Automotive, Transportation, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Border Security, Smart Cities, Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS), and Airspace Management including Urban Air Mobility (UTM).\nEchodyne is seeking a Security Architect to join our fast-growing team. \nRESPONSIBILITIES\nLead and facilitate threat modeling activities for products, systems, and key technical initiatives.\nRun secure design reviews and partner with engineering teams to identify and reduce security risk early in the development lifecycle.\nProvide practical security architecture guidance for new features, services, and infrastructure changes.\nDocument risks, recommended mitigations, and security decisions from design and review sessions.\nCollaborate with engineering, product, and platform teams to improve secure-by-design practices across the organization.\nREQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE\nExperience leading threat modeling and secure design discussions.\nStrong understanding of application, cloud, and infrastructure security principles.\nAbility to translate security risks into clear technical recommendations for engineering teams.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nDESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE (Looking for one or more as a complement to the core skills) \nExperience partnering with software engineering teams in fast-paced development environments.\nFamiliarity with common security frameworks, design patterns, and risk assessment methodologies.\nExperience influencing technical direction without direct authority.\nEchodyne’s technology is export controlled by the U.S. Government and we must evaluate an applicant’s eligibility to handle export-controlled information or obtain required Government authorizations.
