Echodyne offers its radars to companies working in Automotive, Transportation, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Border Security, Smart Cities, Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS), and Airspace Management including Urban Air Mobility (UTM).\nEchodyne is seeking a TEST ENGINEER II to focus on off-radar software.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nDesign, execute, and maintain software test scenarios for complex web-based applications and APIs\nAnalyze product requirements and architecture to contribute to test strategies, coverage, and acceptance criteria for our user interfaces and backend services\nDevelop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports; manage defects through resolution\nPerform manual UI and API testing, as well as exploratory testing, to identify product risks, edge cases, and failure modes\nBuild and maintain automated tests where they provide clear value, contributing to existing frameworks using Python, Playwright, and Selenium\nCollaborate with software development, product, and firmware teams to improve testability and overall quality\nSupport test environments, automation infrastructure, and test execution across projects and releases\nPromote strong testing practices and a quality-first mindset, participating in peer reviews and knowledge sharing\nREQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE\n3+ years of experience in software testing, QA engineering, or test engineering roles, with a focus on web applications and RESTful APIs\nExperience validating feature-level behavior and cross-component workflows\nSolid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and test design techniques\nExperience with UI and API test automation, including writing and maintaining automated tests (Python preferred)\nExperience working in environments with hardware and software dependencies\nPractical knowledge of Linux environments, Git workflows, and CI/CD concepts\nUnderstanding of software development practices, defect investigation, and root cause analysis\nEchodyne’s technology is export controlled by the U.S. Government and we must evaluate an applicant’s eligibility to handle export-controlled information or obtain required Government authorizations.
