Echodyne offers its radars to companies working in Automotive, Transportation, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Border Security, Smart Cities, Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS), and Airspace Management including Urban Air Mobility (UTM).\nEchodyne is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to join our fast-growing team. \nROLE OVERVIEW\nEchodyne is seeking a mid-level Salesforce Administrator to manage and improve our Salesforce environment, including Salesforce CPQ and integrations with other business systems. This role will partner with Sales Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT to support users, improve workflows, and deliver projects that help the business scale.\nThe ideal candidate brings broad Salesforce knowledge, proficient Apex skills, and familiarity with Salesforce CPQ. They are collaborative and thoughtful about how changes affect other teams, data, and connected systems. They can also work independently, manage competing priorities, and carry projects from requirements through rollout.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nSalesforce Administration and User SupportManage day-to-day Salesforce administration, including user setup, access, roles, profiles, permission sets, and user deactivation.\nMaintain objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, flows, reports, and dashboards.\nTroubleshoot user issues, resolve support requests, and identify recurring problems that need a broader solution.\nMaintain data quality through consistent standards, duplicate management, and appropriate controls.\nDocument system configurations and processes, and provide user guidance and training.\n\nProjects and System ImprovementsLead Salesforce projects from requirements gathering and planning through configuration, testing, deployment, and user adoption.\nImplement and improve Account Teams and Opportunity Teams to support collaboration, account coverage, and reporting.\nPartner with Sales Operations to improve Salesforce CPQ, including product configuration, pricing, quote workflows, and approvals.\nTranslate business needs into practical, maintainable solutions using standard Salesforce capabilities where appropriate.\nRead, troubleshoot, and update Apex code, coordinating with developers or external partners for more complex work.\nManage project timelines, communicate progress, and identify dependencies and risks early.\n\nIntegrations and Cross-Functional CollaborationSupport Salesforce connections with systems such as NetSuite, Marketing Cloud, and integration platforms.\nUnderstand how data moves between systems and help troubleshoot synchronization issues.\nEvaluate downstream impacts before making changes, including effects on quoting, orders, reporting, Finance, and Marketing.\nCoordinate with internal teams and external partners to validate requirements, test changes, and support releases.\nMaintain clear documentation of integration dependencies and data mappings.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n3 years or more of hands-on Salesforce administration experience.\nBroad knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, including data management, automation, reporting, and dashboards.\nExperience managing users, roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing settings.\nFamiliarity with Salesforce CPQ and the quote-to-order process.\nProficient Apex knowledge, including the ability to read code, troubleshoot issues, and make straightforward updates.\nExperience building and maintaining Salesforce Flow.\nUnderstanding of integrations between Salesforce and other business systems, such as NetSuite or Marketing Cloud.\nStrong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to assess how changes affect other teams and processes.\nAbility to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver projects with competing priorities.\nClear communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.\nREQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE\nSales Operations or Commercial Operations experience.\nExperience reviewing commercial documents, purchase orders, and customer T&Cs.\nExperience with CRM systems (Salesforce is a plus, but not the primary responsibility).\nFamiliarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.).\nStrong attention to detail.\nAbility to work cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Sales, and Customer Service.\nBasic contract/commercial knowledge (legal background is a plus, not required). \nPREFERRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE \nSalesforce Certified Administrator certification.\nExperience implementing Account Teams, Opportunity Teams, or territory and account coverage structures.\nExperience supporting Salesforce CPQ configuration, pricing rules, and approval workflows.\nFamiliarity with Boomi or similar integration platforms.\nExperience coordinating external Salesforce consultants or development partners.\nSUCCESS IN THIS ROLE\nA reliable Salesforce environment with timely user support and appropriate access controls.\nSuccessful delivery of Account Teams, Opportunity Teams, and CPQ improvements.\nSimpler workflows that reduce manual effort and improve data quality.\nChanges that are tested, documented, and implemented with a clear understanding of downstream impacts.\nReliable data flow between Salesforce and connected systems.\nStrong cross-functional partnerships and clear communication of project priorities, progress, and outcomes.\nEchodyne’s technology is export controlled by the U.S. Government and we must evaluate an applicant’s eligibility to handle export-controlled information or obtain required Government authorizations.
