As a company driven on customer service and a high-quality product, we strive to offer leading edge technology and our team of technicians are driven to provide the highest quality possible.\nPosition Details:\nEcho NDE is seeking Phased Array Technicians to support our PLI division across Western Canada and the United States.\nThis position is ideal for technicians with strong PAUT and code-based inspection experience who thrive in a fast-paced field environment, performing critical integrity assessments on pipeline assets across North America.\nResponsibilities\nLocate, identify, and interpret pipeline flaws utilizing various NDE inspection methods. \nAbility to perform various examinations on live natural gas or liquid pipelines. \nReview of pipeline integrity inspection report, including assisting other pipeline integrity technicians with reporting.\nPerform Phased Array (PAUT) on inspections of piping long seams, girth welds on piping and related equipment. \nExecute inspections in accordance with ASME codes and standards.\nInterpret and evaluate inspection data with accuracy and integrity.\nWork collaboratively with field crews and project teams.\nRequirements\nCGSB Ultrasonic Testing UT2 certificate. \nPCN PAUT Level 2 or equivalent.\nCGSB Magnetic Particle Testing MT2 certificate.\nKnowledge of the pipeline industry and, more specifically, pipeline integrity inspections required. \nAbility to manage and organize large and varied amounts of data. \nPossess good analytical skills, detail oriented.\nBe able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally (English).\nBe able to pass a vision and color detection test.\nPossess a valid driver’s license minimum (class 5) with a clean driving record.\nAble to work well within a team environment.\nCandidates from anywhere in Canada are encouraged to apply.\nGrow Your Career With Us\nWe recognize that highly skilled PAUT technicians are built through both experience and ongoing development.\nCandidates with PAUT, CGSB UT2 and other relevant NDT certifications who are interested in expanding their expertise in pipeline integrity inspections are encouraged to apply.\nWhy work with Echo NDE?\nWe understand that a team is shaped by its leaders and their ability to bring the best out in everyone.
