As a company driven on customer service and a high-quality product, we strive to offer leading edge technology and our team of technicians are driven to provide the highest quality possible.\nEcho NDE is seeking CGSB-certified RT2 Technicians to support ongoing projects throughout Alberta.\nThis is a regular, full-time opportunity for qualified technicians looking to work in a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for ongoing training, professional development, and career growth.\nPosition Information:\nSchedule: Project-based, full-time work with varying scopes. \nTravel: Various work site locations including Calgary, Edmonton, Conklin, Foster Creek, Fort McMurray, AB and surrounding industrial site locations.\n Accommodations: Camp or hotel accommodations will be provided for eligible project scopes.\nResponsibilities\nPrepare, transport, and set up RT equipment, including X-ray/gamma ray sources and digital imaging systems, at various field and client site locations\nCalibrate and verify equipment in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements.\nPerform radiographic inspections on welds, piping, pressure equipment, and structural components to identify flaws or discontinuities.\nUtilize DRT systems (Carestream experience considered an asset) to capture, process, and evaluate radiographic images.\nInterpret inspection results and complete accurate reporting in accordance with client and industry requirements.\nSupport call out, turnaround, and outage work scopes at remote, camp, and hotel-based project locations.\nMaintain compliance with company procedures, radiation safety standards, and site-specific safety requirements.\nCommunicate effectively and work collaboratively with CEDOs, technicians, supervisors, and client representatives\nRequirements\nCGSB RT Level 2 Certification.\nCGSB MT and PT Level 2 certifications is considered an asset.\nDTR experience preferred (Carestream experience considered an asset). \nExperience supporting boiler DTR work considered an asset.\nCandidates who regularly work alongside a CEDO partner are encouraged to apply.\nCandidates must be willing and able to travel and work away from home on camp or hotel-based assignments.\nAbility to maintain positive working relations with clients.\nExceptional safety and quality awareness.\nAbility to solve problems and manage time effectively.\nSelf-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level.\nValid driver's license.\nWhy work with Echo NDE?\nWe understand that a team is shaped by its leaders and their ability to bring the best out in everyone.
