The successful candidate will support the planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting of design and build projects across the industrial, commercial, and data center sectors.\nThe role requires strong technical planning capabilities, hands-on experience with Primavera P6, and a solid understanding of project controls, construction sequencing, contractual requirements, and delay analysis. The Planning Engineer will work closely with project management, engineering, procurement, construction, cost control, quantity surveying, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective project delivery.\nKey Responsibilities:\nReview contract and tender documents to understand scheduling requirements, key milestones, reporting obligations, and contractual notices.\nPrepare and maintain tender, baseline, look-ahead, micro, and recovery schedules using Primavera P6.\nEnsure project schedules are accurate, logically sequenced, resource loaded and aligned with the approved construction methodology and project requirements.\nMonitor actual progress through site visits, daily construction reports, timesheets, completed quantities, and regular coordination with site teams.\nUpdate schedules to reflect actual progress, revisions, variations, acceleration measures, delays, and recovery plans.\nPrepare weekly and monthly progress reports, resource histograms, cash in and cash out curves, and schedule presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.\nMonitor productivity, planned versus actual performance, critical activities, and project milestones, highlighting any schedule variances or areas of concern.\nIdentify potential delays and project risks, communicate their impact to the Project Manager, and recommend appropriate mitigation and recovery strategies.\nConduct delay analysis and support the Contracts team in preparing Extension of Time claims, including impacted schedules, narratives, methodologies, and supporting documents.\nCoordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Cost Control, Quantity Surveying, and Contracts teams to ensure effective project planning and time management.\nCoordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain progress updates and ensure their activities remain aligned with the overall project schedule.\nParticipate in site progress and coordination meetings, follow up on planning actions, and provide clear schedule updates to relevant stakeholders.\nMaintain accurate planning records, reports, productivity data, and schedule updates within the approved project filing system.\nQualifications and Skills:\nBachelor’s degree in civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (BSc is mandatory)\nMinimum 1 year of relevant experience in project planning, preferably with contractors in data center or industrial projects\nProven expertise in Primavera P6 and Power BI\nPossession of one or more of the following certifications is mandatory:PMP (Project Management Professional)\nPMI-SP (Scheduling Professional)\nPSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional)\n\nStrong understanding of contractual and commercial implications related to project scheduling\nExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact confidently with clients and consultants\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines\nCandidate must be a Saudi Talent.\nWhat makes a true AMANAian?\nWe know that our company growth and success come from our people who continuously drive our company, partners, and clients forward.
