This hands-on position requires independent troubleshooting, sound technical judgment, thorough documentation, and effective collaboration with IT colleagues and business users. Secondary responsibilities include end-user support, service request resolution, and hardware and software lifecycle management.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned:\nAdminister and troubleshoot VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V virtual infrastructure.\nImplement and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, etc.\nAdminister Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 cloud services.\nManage identity and access systems, including Microsoft Entra ID, Entra Connect SSO, and MFA.\nInvestigate and resolve infrastructure and security issues.\nManage backup and recovery operations, including restoration testing and disaster recovery.\nConfigure and troubleshoot Cisco network devices, MPLS, VLANs, switching and routing.\nMaintain business critical applications and coordinate upgrades and migrations.\nInstall, configure, and maintain servers, endpoints, network equipment and software.\nMaintain system inventories, configuration records and technical documentation.\nIndependently troubleshoot complex issues and manage assigned projects to completion.\nProvide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support as needed. \nQualifications & Experience (Required):\n5+ years of hands-on systems administration experience in a business or enterprise environment.\nAdministration experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.\nStrong Windows Server and Active Directory skills, including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and file permissions.\nHands-on VMWare vSphere/ESXi administration experience.\nWorking knowledge of Cisco networking, TCP/IP, subnetting, FLANs and switching.\nExperience with backup and recovery operations, cybersecurity, and incident troubleshooting. \nAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and proactively resolve technical issues. \nStrong communication, interpersonal and documentation skills.\nWillingness to work evenings and weekends as operational needs require. \nQualifications (Preferred):\nDegree in Information Technology, Computer Science information Systems or related field.\nProfessional certifications such as VMware VCP, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft, or CompTIA.\nExperience with Microsoft Hyper-V, Entra ID, hybrid identity, SSO and MFA.\nExperience with Veeam Backup & Replication and NetApp storage solutions.\nPowerShell/Power CLI scripting and administrative automation experience. \nExperience with cloud migrations and Active Directory upgrades. \nmacOS administration experience. \nIf you have
