Our global network includes facilities in Canada, the United States and Hungary ensuring regional expertise and global strength.\nThe Position:\nThe Payroll Administrator will accurately process the biweekly payroll on time, and in accordance with established practices and company policy. The incumbent will ensure compliance is maintained with all required legislation and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles, while delivering the Eclipse Vision and the Eclipse Entrepreneurial Culture.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nPayroll Processing\nAdminister bi-weekly Canadian and US payroll for approximately 600 employees using Ceridian Dayforce.\nMonitor timesheet accuracy and completeness, follow up with employees and managers in a timely manner for corrections.\nCalculate and verify accuracy of irregular earnings and deductions in Dayforce\nReconcile all payroll inputs to appropriate source information\nReview payroll outputs for accuracy, investigate discrepancies and make appropriate corrections\nProcess garnishments\nCalculate and process taxable benefits, statutory holiday pay, shift premium, on call, employee tool loans\nProcess Records of Employment\nCreate the payroll journal entry and enter in Sage 50\nCalculate and remit WSIB premiums\nMonth End/Year End\nCalculate and remit monthly WSIB premiums\nProcess benefit invoices and reconcile employee monthly premiums to pay period deductions\nUnderstand pension adjustment calculations and review accuracy on T4s\nAdminister year end payroll forms such as T4s and T2200s\nPerform annual reconciliations for EHT and WSIB\nReview PIER report and process corrections as required\nReview Dayforce configuration (pay calendars, statutory holidays, earnings and deductions)\nUpdate benefit plans costs in Dayforce\nReview Dayforce entitlement rollovers (vacation), and process annual vacation payouts\nAttend NPI’s year end payroll seminar.
