The incumbent will assist in the development and implementation of Controls Engineering policies and procedures, liaise directly with other department personnel to ensure project goals are met on schedule, while delivering the Eclipse Vision and the Eclipse Entrepreneurial Culture.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nTechnical\nRecognize problems, initiate action, assist in problem solving, and evaluate results on major issues prior to shipment of equipment to the customer\nReview any applicable customer software design standards and ensure compliance on project execution\nPerform code reviews and ensure that all Software Design deliverables meet the Eclipse high standards of quality, reliability, and safety\nDrive project software development and integration effort through project completion\n\nLeadership\nGuide, direct, teach, assist, and advise department staff on software design practices and standards\nGuide, organize, and coordinate assigned staff to prioritize project delivery\nLead the software design project team to ensure project contract deliverables are met\nWork to specific project milestones provided by project management\nPromote positive relations with partners, customers, vendors, and distributors\nRecommend and consistently administer policies and procedures to enhance department operations and support continuous improvement\nEnforce and promote Eclipse policies throughout the entire company including Human Resources, personal development, safety, and environmental\nRecommend Eclipse Database improvements on an ongoing basis to increase efficiency throughout the company\nLiaise between all departments to ensure on time delivery of Eclipse machinery and equipment\nWork with Human Resources and abide by the Employment Standards Act and the Eclipse Employee Handbook\nPromote environmentally and ergonomically safe conceptual product and/or processes to ensure safety of Eclipse personnel and the customer’s employees\nEnsure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Eclipse Automation Inc.
