Liaising with clients and colleagues throughout, you will contribute to requirement definition, prototyping, architecting, software implementation, and ultimately device integration and verification.\nYou will need:\nA 1st or 2.1 degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related engineering subject from a well-respected university\nCommercial embedded software development experience in C and/or C++ for Linux (and ideally RTOS)\nPython scripting skills for creating software tools and automated tests. Qt expertise is not essential but would be welcome\nStrong written and verbal communication, teamworking, and problem-solving skills, plus a good understanding of software engineering best practices such as version control with Git. Experience with IEC 62304 would be a bonus\nFull existing UK work permission without time limit or sponsorship\nProjects will be varied and challenging, providing long term scope to pick up new skills and to advance professionally whilst making a direct impact on the lives of patients. This role is fully on-site with occasional opportunities to travel internationally to visit clients or suppliers.
