These products are typically sophisticated medium-volume instruments that perform a specialised clinical or diagnostic function. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Electronics Engineer who will help deliver their next medical device instruments.\nFrom well-furbished buildings, you will have at hand the latest tools and support to design, develop and deliver projects. You’ll have access to Altium Designer for ECAD and a range of test instruments. Workshops are kitted out with hardware prototyping capabilities, so you can look to optimise your designs.\nRequirements:\nHaving graduated with a 1st / 2.1 in electronics, you can demonstrate significant industry experience in electronic hardware design including prototyping, ECAD, test and manufacturing.\nProject experience with medical device regulations (ISO13485). Other highly-regulated industry experience may be considered.\nExperience with FPGAs or Python for test automation would be desirable.\nExposure to optics, embedded software or signal processing would be advantageous.\nGood communications skills and ability to speak with technical and non-technical audiences. Past experience working in a technical consultancy environment would be highly beneficial.\nMust be able to undertake occasional national and international business travel (typically US and Europe).\nThis is an excellent opportunity to develop and hone your engineering and problem solving skills, work on interesting projects within a collaborative and supportive work environment.
