You’ll be supported by account managers and technical specialists, and help to grow and develop a team of colleagues around you.\nYou will have:\nA good technical degree in a STEM subject and strong supporting academic grades; you may even have a PhD. You will have degree-level or higher knowledge of engineering materials, either from education or elsewhere.\nSignificant expertise in a client-facing technical capacity, working with business clients in the engineering sector, such as the development of engineering solutions, or applications engineering, or product management, or even technical sales.\nLikely from the above, the technical leadership skills required to shepherd client projects from early stage discussions through to delivery.\nThe mindset towards commercial aspects and negotiation, including good judgement on pricing and margins, and pitching at a level to secure business; you will have had demonstrable success in these respects in the past.\nYou’d be joining a growing company, expanding both through hiring and acquisitions. If you have microfabrication or materials testing / analysis experience, that is also a bonus.
