Researches and answers escalated questions or higher-level processes from other team members. Conducts department training and provides quality assurance measures to ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are met successfully.\nThis position is classified as hybrid and requires attendance in office, Monday - Wednesday in Minneapolis, MN.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nMonitors, evaluates and provides feedback on the quality of work performed by team members to ensure accuracy and compliance.\nActs as a liaison between ECMC and service providers who have a vested interest in claims processing.\nActs as point of contact for information requests.\nAnalyzes data and trends related to department performance metrics to make recommendations for improving results to leadership.\nResolves data inconsistencies or inaccuracies through contact and collaboration with internal customers.\nUpdates department procedures, ensuring that all team members fully understand them.\nWorks on departmental projects and work requests, tracking and reporting on progress to ensure timely implementation\nStays current with regulations to ensure departmental practices comply with applicable regulations, laws and statutes.\nMaintains confidentiality of information regarding team member performance.\nEnsures team members manage their workload and fulfill assigned tasks on a daily and weekly basis.\nActs as the main point of contact for team member questions on daily work assignments; escalates issues as needed to manager.\nCreates work requests and conducts system testing as needed.\nAssists with the facilitation of staff meetings and team-building activities.\nPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED\n5+ years of relevant work experience\n3+ years of experience in a claims environment or similar business function\nIntermediate proficiency with mathematical skills and concepts\nIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite or Mac Office, specifically with Word and Excel applications\nPreferred Qualifications\nWorking knowledge of the student loan industry/regulations\nThe hourly range for this position is $26.50-$33.00 per hour. Actual hourly pay may vary based upon, but not limited to relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector and geographic location.\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
