We're bringing our website and digital product engineering in-house, and this is the role that makes that happen. As our Software Engineer, you'll keep our Next.js and React site (deployed on Vercel) fast, reliable and easy to build on, with safe, frequent releases backed by solid CI/CD. You'll also lay the platform foundations for new digital capabilities, starting with online sampling for our customers.\nIt's not a website-only job. You'll be the engineering resource for the wider technology function: connecting systems like NetSuite and Shopify, and supporting MAX, our AI agent platform, as it grows. You'll work closely with our product, marketing and technology teams, plus external partners and vendors.\nThe Sofware Engineer's key responsibilities will include:\nWebsite and digital product\nOwn and evolve our Next.js / React / Vercel website architecture\nBuild responsive, accessible interfaces with real design quality\nLay the platform foundations for new capabilities like online sampling\nInvestigate and fix defects and production issues quickly\nManage technical risk: security, performance and dependencies\nEngineering quality and delivery\nShip high-quality code through proper CI/CD, so releases are low-drama\nWrite and maintain unit, integration and end-to-end tests\nReview code and keep improving how we build\nIntegrations and platform support\nBuild and maintain integrations and APIs across the business, not just the website\nSupport MAX, our AI agent platform, as it expands\nDocument your work so it's genuinely maintainable\nRequirements\nWe need you to bring…\nStrong hands-on experience with Next.js, React and Vercel - core to the role, not a nice-to-have\nSolid integrations and API skills, with genuine comfort working on systems beyond the website\nReal CI/CD experience - you care about the pipeline as much as the product\nExperience writing unit and end-to-end tests\nA full understanding of Agile and experience working in a regular sprint cycle\nComfort owning a platform end to end, including the unglamorous parts: performance, reliability and the small fixes that keep everything running\nConfidence with AI-enabled engineering and IDEs such as Cursor and Antigravity\nClear communication - you can explain technical trade-offs to people who don't need the detail\nThe ability to switch contexts between polished customer-facing work and the systems plumbing that keeps the business running\nGood judgement on scope: you know the difference between what's needed now and what can wait\nA collaborative style, building rapport with our product, marketing and technology teams as well as external staff and vendors\nA solution-focused mindset, with ownership of quality and maintainability over time\nNice to have: Contentstack or a similar headless CMS, NetSuite or a similar ERP, or experience supporting AI or agent-based platforms\nBenefits\nIn return, we’ll give you… Perks, benefits and the space to grow.
