And that's how we can efficiently solve complex energy challenges in the built environment.\nHere are some of the projects we've been working on recently: Adelphi University, Brown University and San Diego Padres Stadium.\nWho you are\nWe are on the lookout for a dynamic Technical Construction Manager, someone who is an expert troubleshooter, who thrives on managing complex construction environments, who can be accountable and dreams of making an impact.\nWhat you will do\nOversee on-site construction operations, managing subcontractors, client, and stakeholders at higher-education facilities. \nDrive the success of projects in a versatile, and highly integrated team that works in tandem from design to completion, whilst ensuring safety and quality. \nManage and resolve technical challenges on-site by leveraging your problem-solving skills to achieve project goals in more efficient and cost-effective ways. \nNavigate change/scope creep and solve technical challenges on site, always balancing costs, budgets schedules, and people. \nPropose, estimate, and present project upgrades to the client. \nUnderstand aspects of energy performance measures before committing to implementation. \nAssume responsibility for managing project construction execution, adhering to budget, schedule, and quality standards. \nDeliver an exceptional client experience. \nYour profile\nA minimum of 5 years’ experience with ownership of construction projects, encompassing technical oversight, project management, delivery, and execution.\nExperience in HVAC or mechanical construction \nStrong communication (written and verbal), listening, and negotiating skills in English. \nTeam player with a positive attitude, resilience, and determination. \nQuick critical thinking ability under pressure. \nTop-notch organizational skills. \nResourceful and excellent judgment\nField-based role with 4-5 days/week on active project sites across NYC and surrounding regions (Greater NY, Long Island, New Jersey; occasional Philadelphia). Candidates must live within commuting distance of the NYC metro area.
