Job Purpose:
The Senior Analyst, Business Applications is responsible for the implementation, enhancement, integration, governance, and operational support of enterprise business applications across the EcoCeres Group. The role serves as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure business applications effectively support operational excellence, digital transformation, compliance, and business growth.
Working as part of the business applications team, the position will drive and support various application initiatives across different domains based on project phases and business priorities. Key systems including but not limited to:
- ERP (Oracle Fusion)
- HRMS & Workforce Management Systems
- Supply Chain Management (SCM) Systems
- Office Automation (OA) & Workflow Platforms
- CRM & Commercial Applications
- Sustainability & Traceability Platforms
- Other enterprise and department-specific applications
This role combines project management, business analysis, system administration, vendor management, and application support responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
1. Application Project Delivery
- Lead and participate in business application implementation, rollout, enhancement, upgrade, and integration projects.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements with stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Operations, HR, Sustainability, and other functions.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs.
- Coordinate with external vendors, implementation partners, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage project plans, timelines, risks, issues, and deliverables.
- Support UAT planning, execution, defect management, and production deployment.
- Drive process standardization and adoption of best practices across business functions.
2. Business Application Support & Operations
- Provide functional and L2/L3 support for enterprise applications, particularly during post-go-live hypercare, enhancement rollouts, or as assigned across application domains.
- Collaborate with internal teammates and external vendors to troubleshoot application issues, monitor integrations, and support change requests.
- Investigate and resolve application incidents, service requests, and process-related issues.
- Monitor application performance, data quality, integrations, and system availability.
- Coordinate with vendors and support partners to resolve critical issues and service interruptions.
- Manage application configurations, master data controls, and change requests.
- Develop and maintain support procedures, knowledge articles, and application documentation.
3. Business Process Improvement & Digital Transformation
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation and digitalization.
- Recommend solutions that improve productivity, governance, reporting, and operational efficiency.
- Participate in digital transformation initiatives involving ERP, SCM, HRMS, OA, analytics, AI, and workflow automation.
- Ensure business applications align with enterprise architecture and integration standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and system optimization programs.
4. Integration & Data Management
- Work closely with integration teams to support interfaces between ERP and other enterprise systems.
- Monitor application integrations, data flows, and transaction processing.
- Assist in data migration, cleansing, reconciliation, and validation activities.
- Support master data governance and data quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure consistent data standards and controls across integrated platforms.
5. Governance, Compliance & Security
- Ensure application operations comply with IT governance, security policies, and internal control requirements.
- Support audit activities, access reviews, segregation of duties (SoD), and compliance assessments.
- Maintain application documentation, SOPs, and process controls.
- Participate in cybersecurity and data protection initiatives related to business applications.
- Support ITGC, SOX, and regulatory compliance requirements where applicable.
6. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders across regions and functions.
- Act as trusted advisor for business application capabilities and best practices.
- Coordinate with software vendors, implementation partners, and support providers.
- Manage support tickets, enhancement requests, vendor escalations, and service reviews.
- Deliver end-user training and application awareness sessions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- 5-8 years of experience in enterprise business applications, ERP, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Proven experience in business analysis, application support, and project implementation.
- Strong execution drive and ownership, with a proven track record of driving projects forward from requirements gathering through to UAT, rollout, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Experience supporting one or more of the following:
- ERP (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, etc.)
- HRMS
- SCM
- CRM
- Workflow/OA platforms (Power Apps/Automate, Feishu, Dingding, Wecom, etc
- Hands-on mindset with high flexibility and willingness to support different business systems, operational tasks, or project scopes based on team priorities and business needs.
- Experience working with business stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Experience managing external vendors and implementation partners.
- Manufacturing, supply chain, energy, chemical, industrial, or process industry experience would be a plus.
