The role is responsible for overseeing local financial performance, managing statutory reporting requirements, and senior leadership with high-quality financial analysis.\n\nJobResponsibilities:\nThis role is report to the local plant management/Headquarter Head of Finance and its primary duties including, but are not limited to, the following:\nManage and mentor the plant’s finance team, responsible and manage for all daily finance matters, such as revenue recognition. costing, payment, general ledger etc.\nReview of month end reporting template to facilitate consolidation notes disclosures for month-end reporting compliance.\nPreparation of financial statements and ensure the reports comply with relevant GAAP or applicable regulatory requirements.\nCollecting, interpreting and reviewing financial information. Monitor production efficiency and identify cost-saving opportunities. Act as an important contact point for local and headquarters finance teams.\nCollaborate with operations, supply chain, production managers and other group companies’ team.\nPrepare and monitor annual budgets and financial/cashflow forecasts.\nParticipate in ad-hoc projects as assigned.\nAny other ad-hoc task shall be assigned by the superior from time-to-time. \n\nJob Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting and /or Finance\nProfessional accounting qualification (CPA or equivalent)\nMinimum of 10 years of relevant experience in auditing, financial and managerial reporting, 3 years at managerial level, experience in manufacturing sector/oil and gas industry/listed company/MNC reporting is preferred.\nProactive, independent, able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to lead and manage complex matters in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.\nThinking and acting in start-up mentality\nStrong communication and inter-personal skills.\nProficient in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
