They are responsible for analyzing the latest trends, costs, revenues, and financial commitment incurred to predict future revenues. They usually handle organization finance and management and provide recommendations about various resource applications.\nEssential Job Duties\nProduce asset, liability and capital account entries and assess account information\nPrepare financial transaction by entering data\nRecommending financial action by analyzing accounting options\nSupport financial transactions by auditing documents\nRegular accounting process of journal entries with monthly closure accounts\nArranging all company financial programs and secure compliance to the budgetary requirement\nMonitor all financial transactions\nControlling departments in accounting reconciliation process monthly\nReviewing all banking transactions and overseeing data assessing procedures\nServe as university representative at any audits relating to reconciliation transactions facilitated by a government agency\nMaintaining internal expenses in the company secure\nDesigning and managing audit schedules for external audit processer\nDevelop budgetary plans for processing as per requirement\nPreparing daily cash report\nAssisting in preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP\nPost daily journal entries based on daily accounting activity\nPrepare monthly reconciliation\nReconcile credit card and ACH payments\nAssist in handling financial records by maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.\nOther duties as assigned by Supervisor or designee.\nOmission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a \nlogical assignment to the position. \nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. Experience preferred.\nExperience with financial reporting and analysis\nFamiliarity with ERP systems, such as Ellucian Colleague or Banner\nLicenses/Certifications\nNone\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nStrong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping\nProficient in spreadsheet applications and financial management software\nExcellent business writing and data analytical skills.\nSound understanding of accounting procedures and practice.\nAbility to work accurately, methodically and to meet deadlines.\nExcellent interpersonal relationships and promote process improvement.\nDemonstrated mature sense of judgment.\nCompetence in the use of standard Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
