You will work closely with plant leadership, supply chain partners, and cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse operations and support business objectives.\nWhat’s in it For You:\nOpportunity to lead logistics and warehouse operations within a global organization committed to growth and innovation. \nExposure to cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, supply chain, customer service, and sales teams. \nAbility to drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. \nCareer development opportunities within a world-class supply chain and logistics network. \nA culture focused on safety, sustainability, and operational excellence. \nWhat You Will Do:\nDirect and coordinate material handling activities, including processing, packaging, storage, shipping, and receiving of supplies, materials, and equipment. \nDevelop and manage schedules for shipping and receiving activities to optimize workflow, meet customer requirements, and effectively utilize warehouse space. \nOversee warehouse operations, inventory control processes, and material management systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency. \nMonitor inventory levels and implement controls that support operational requirements and inventory integrity. \nCollaborate with plant operations, procurement, customer service, and transportation partners to ensure uninterrupted material flow. \nLead and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on logistics performance, cost reduction, productivity, and service enhancement. \nEnsure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. \nManage logistics activities for 80,000sqft divided across three local buildings. \nTrack and analyze key performance indicators to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies. \nProvide leadership, coaching, and direction to logistics and warehouse personnel as applicable. \nCommunicate regularly with management, local sales teams, and key stakeholders regarding operational performance and business needs. \nSupport effective budget management and cost control efforts \nPosition Details (Location & Work Schedule):\nLocation: Glenwood, IL \nM-F, 7am - 4pm \nMay require occasional flexibility to support shipping, receiving, and operational demands. \nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Transportation, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field. \n6 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, shipping, receiving, inventory control, manufacturing operations, or related supply chain functions. \nExperience working with inventory management systems and warehouse control processes. \nDemonstrated ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment. \nAuthorization to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience leading warehouse or logistics operations in a manufacturing environment. \nKnowledge of transportation, distribution, and supply chain best practices. \nExperience managing logistics budgets and operational performance metrics. \nDemonstrated success driving continuous improvement initiatives. \nStrong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. \nExperience collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting customer-focused operations. \nProficiency with ERP, warehouse management, and inventory control systems. Preferably SAP \nExperience implementing new processes and procedures with associate training \nAnnual or Hourly Compensation Range\nThe base salary range for this position is $96,700.00 - $145,100.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms.
