This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting commercial and technical projects, working closely with technical managers, sales teams, marketing, and key customers.\nThe intern will assist in the preparation of customer-facing materials, technical documentation, data analysis, sustainability projects, and business reporting.\nThis role will provide support across the European Institutional business, with interaction with teams in different countries\nHow You’ll Make an Impact:\nCommercial & Technical Support\nAssist in the preparation of customer presentations, technical proposals, and business reviews.\nSupport the development of technical and commercial documentation for hospitality and institutional customers.\nHelp prepare product comparisons and benchmarking analyses.\nSupport tender and contract-related activities by gathering technical information and documentation.\nData Analysis & Reporting\nMaintain and update tracking tools, databases, and project dashboards.\nAnalyze operational and commercial data using Excel and other reporting tools.\nSupport the generation of reports on customer performance, product usage, and project progress.\nAssist in consolidating information from different European countries and business teams.\nCustomer & Project Coordination\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, and Customer Service.\nSupport the coordination of regional projects and follow-up of action plans.\nPrepare meeting minutes, action trackers, and project summaries.\nAssist in organizing customer workshops, webinars, and team meetings.\nSustainability & Compliance Support\nSupport sustainability-related initiatives and customer projects.\nAssist in gathering information regarding certifications, environmental programs, and product compliance.\nHelp maintain technical documentation related to regulatory requirements and customer requests.\nDigital Tools & Process Improvement\nUse Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Forms, SharePoint) to support daily activities.\nHelp automate reporting processes and improve data management practices.\nContribute ideas for process simplification and efficiency improvements.\nMinimum qualifications:\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in: Engineering/Chemistry/Environmental Sciences\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft tools.\nGood communication skills in English.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and work independently.\nPreferred qualifications:\nKnowledge of hospitality, food service, laundry, hygiene, or sustainability topics.\nExperience with Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate, or Microsoft Forms.\nAdditional language skills (Spanish, French, Portuguese, or Italian) are a plus.\nCompetencies\nCustomer-focused mindset\nTeamwork and collaboration\nAnalytical thinking\nLearning agility\nResults orientation\nStrong organizational skills\nCuriosity and initiative\nEffective communication\nAbout Ecolab:\nAt Ecolab, we prioritize our talent-first philosophy by creating the most capable and diverse team to excel at our nearly three million customer sites.
