The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting electrical components to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and performance.\nThis is a contract position.\nTwo shifts are available: Day and Evening Shift\nResponsibilities:\nAssembly of electrical panels and wiring harnesses according to engineering drawings and specifications.\nPerform soldering, crimping, and wire routing to ensure secure and reliable electrical connections.\nConduct visual inspections and electrical tests to verify the integrity and functionality of assembled products.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.\nCollaborate with engineering and quality control teams to address any issues or discrepancies in the assembly process.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality.\nFollow all standard operating procedures and work instructions accurately.\nWHO YOU ARE:\nBasic Qualifications:\nMinimum High School Diploma required.\n2+ years of Electrical component and wiring assembly required.\nProven experience in electrical assembly, specifically in building electrical panels and wiring harnesses.\nAbility to Interpret engineered drawings, Standard work procedures and work Instructions.\nRequires physical mobility and strength to exert up to 20 kg (44 lbs) of lifting force occasionally, up to 10 kg of force lifting frequently, and negligible force to operate material handling equipment.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nIPC-A-610 soldering certification is an asset.\nSkills:\nSkilled in soldering, crimping, and using hand and power tools for electrical assembly.\nBasic math and measurement skills (i.e. fractions and decimals; imperial and metric) are required.\nWHY COOLIT?\nWe strive to be an employer of choice and as such we believe in rewarding our employees with career and development opportunities that will maintain and strengthen our culture while aligning to our vision and values.\nWe thank every candidate in advance, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.\nABOUT COOLIT SYSTEMS INC.\nFounded in Calgary, Alberta in 2001, CoolIT Systems is the leading Direct Liquid Cooling technology provider for data centers, supercomputers, and desktop computers.
