These costs are covered by CoolIT and are enacted from your first day\nWhat You Will Do:\nDesign and develop factory test infrastructure including piping systems, fluid distribution systems, high-power electrical systems, and automation controls.\nSupport development of large-scale, high-flow and high-pressure test systems involving pumps, valves, heat exchangers, instrumentation, and control systems.\nDevelop and review equipment layouts, piping drawings, P&IDs, and infrastructure requirements.\nDefine technical specifications and scopes of work for contractors and engineering consultants.\nSupport PLC-based automation, instrumentation integration, data acquisition, interlocks, alarms, and automated test sequences.\nCoordinate with contractors, suppliers, and consulting engineering firms during design, installation, and commissioning.\nSupport equipment installation, troubleshooting, commissioning, and infrastructure improvements.\nEnsure designs meet safety, reliability, maintainability, and manufacturing requirements.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.\nMinimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience.\nStrong knowledge of piping design, fluid systems, pumps, valves, and industrial utilities.\nGood understanding of high-power electrical applications and industrial power distribution.\nWorking knowledge of industrial automation, PLCs, sensors, instrumentation, VFDs, control panels, and automated equipment.\nExperience working with contractors, engineering consulting companies, and equipment suppliers.\nAbility to read and review P&IDs, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment layouts.\nStrong project coordination, troubleshooting, and communication skills\nExperience in manufacturing, factory testing, liquid cooling, thermal systems, or industrial equipment is considered an asset.\nABOUT COOLIT, AN ECOLAB COMPANY:\nFounded in Calgary, Alberta in 2001, CoolIT, An Ecolab Company is the leading Direct Liquid Cooling technology provider for data centers, supercomputers, and desktop computers.
