Over time, this role offers the opportunity to develop into a Project Engineer position, where the individual will take on expanded, project focused roles and responsibilities, including managing complex projects, designing customized solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive customer satisfaction and product innovation.\nWhat’s in it For You\nDay 1 Coverage: Employer-paid comprehensive benefits, including dental, prescription drug, vision, paramedical coverage, and a $1,000 annual Flexible Spending Account.\nRRSP: 2% employer-sponsored contribution.\nEnjoy three weeks of vacation, six flex days, and a one-week paid company-wide holiday shutdown.\n$1,000 Annual professional development allowance to support your ongoing learning, skill development, and career growth.\nDress for your day in a casual, professional environment.\nWork in a hybrid environment.\nWhat You Will Do\nPerform on-site and/or remote support for installations of CoolIT products. \nConduct preventive and corrective maintenance on direct liquid cooling (DLC) systems. \nRead and interpret blueprints and technical drawings as required. \nProvide technical support to Authorized Service Providers (ASPs) and end-user on-site technicians, including those supporting Tier 3 and Tier 4 data centers. \nDevelop subject matter expertise in CoolIT’s product portfolio. \nDeliver technical training to customers, service technicians, and internal staff, both in-person and remotely. \nFollow established service processes to troubleshoot and resolve issues, coordinating with ASPs as required. \nEnsure compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations. \nComplete accurate and timely service documentation, including service reports and system testing records. \nCoordinate and dispatch field service visits in collaboration with end-users and ASPs. \nSupport the Project Engineering team by sourcing and securing accurate quotations from Authorized Service Providers. \nPosition Details\nWilling and able to travel internationally up to 50% (subject to business needs and travel restrictions). \nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, recently completed or expected with foundational exposure to project workflows through academic projects, internships, or co-op placements. \nEducational background or exposure in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with an understanding of basic control systems and an interest in learning system integration and high-level programming logic. \nProficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and able to document work according to established processes. \nStrong professional communication skills, both verbal and written (English). \nMust hold a valid driver’s license and passport and be eligible to pass security checks for customer sites. \nPhysical Requirements of Position\nPhysically capable of performing field-based work, including lifting up to 50lbs with assistance and working in a remote/home office environment when required. \nPreferred Qualifications\nStrong communication and presentation skills, particularly for training delivery and customer interaction. \nFamiliarity with software platforms used for Field Service Management (FSM) and related business systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP). \nFoundational knowledge of technical cooling system loops, including awareness of different loop configurations; direct liquid cooling experience is an asset. \nExposure to mission-critical environments (such as data centers, industrial, or infrastructure facilities) is an asset; training will be provided. \nFamiliarity with piping materials and joining methods (e.g., plastic fusion, grooved or clamped piping systems); hands-on experience is an asset but not required. \nMechanically inclined with hands-on technical ability. \nHighly adaptable to shifting priorities in fast-paced environments. \nStrong organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills. \nEffective in both independent work and remote/virtual troubleshooting scenarios. \nTakes ownership and pride in work; committed to high standards of service and professionalism. \nWe thank every candidate in advance; however, we will contact only those selected for an interview.
