You will partner with IT, Finance, business stakeholders, and external vendors.\nThis early-career opportunity is well suited to someone with hands-on enterprise resource planning (ERP) experience and 1-2 years of relevant experience in IT operations, technology procurement, technical coordination, or a related environment.\nWhat’s in it For You\nBuild practical experience across IT operations, procurement, inventory, and project coordination.\nWork across the full IT purchasing lifecycle and collaborate with IT, Finance, business stakeholders, and external vendors.\nDevelop transferable ERP, purchasing, vendor management, and technology asset coordination skills.\nContribute to infrastructure, site, office, and technology deployment projects during a focused six-month assignment.\nGain Global Business Experience: Strengthen your IT operations and procurement experience while working within a global organization.\nWhat You Will Do\nSupport the purchase of laptops, workstations, monitors, peripherals, networking equipment, software, and other IT products and services.\nObtain and compare vendor quotations, pricing, availability, and lead times.\nCoordinate order confirmations, shipping, backorders, substitutions, and order status.\nCreate and maintain purchase requisitions and supporting records in the ERP system.\nAssist with purchase orders, receipts, invoices, and related purchasing documentation.\nTrack orders from request through delivery and identify delays, shortages, or discrepancies.\nWork with IT, Procurement, Finance, and vendors to resolve purchasing and receiving issues.\nCoordinate the receipt of IT hardware and project equipment.\nValidate deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips and record serial numbers and asset details.\nMaintain inventory, purchasing, equipment, and project trackers that connect purchases to projects, departments, cost centres, and assets.\nCoordinate equipment staging, storage, deployment, assignment, transfers, returns, and disposal activities.\nSupport IT infrastructure, site, office, and technology deployment projects by coordinating requirements, delivery dates, dependencies, vendor schedules, installations, action items, and status updates.\nMaintain accurate documentation that supports auditability, purchasing controls, and timely follow-up with internal stakeholders and external vendors.\nPosition Details\nEmployment type: Six-month full-time contract\nLocation: 5630 61st Avenue SE, Unit 145\n Work arrangement: hybrid, 4 days in office\nMinimum Qualifications\n1-2 years of experience in IT operations, IT procurement, technical coordination, or a similar environment.\nHands-on experience using an ERP system for purchasing, procurement, inventory, receiving, or related business transactions.\nExperience working with purchase requisitions, purchase orders, vendor quotations, or purchasing workflows.\nWorking knowledge of common IT hardware, including laptops, desktops, monitors, docks, peripherals, and basic networking equipment.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365, including maintaining accurate operational or inventory trackers.\nExperience organizing multiple orders, requests, and project activities while maintaining accurate records.\nExperience communicating with vendors and internal business stakeholders.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPost-secondary education in an information technology or technology program, or in a business or supply chain program with significant information technology exposure.\nExperience using NetSuite for requisitions, purchase orders, receiving, vendor records, inventory, or financial workflows.\nExperience supporting an internal IT department.\nExperience with IT asset or inventory management.\nExperience supporting technology-related projects.\nExperience working with IT hardware vendors, distributors, or resellers.\nFamiliarity with IT asset management or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) concepts.\nExperience with project tracking tools.\nWe thank every candidate in advance; however, we will contact only those selected for an interview.
