This is a great chance to work with IT and Global support teams on IT projects to support our internal customers.\nThe Role\nJoin our IT team in Ecolab as anIT Trainee based in our office in Sant Joan Despi (Barcelona). Ecolab’s IT teams leverage advanced technologies and methodologies across multiple domains including customer collaboration, end user computing, enterprise resource planning, cyber security, and business analytics, partnering with our businesses to deliver results. Our interns develop essential business and IT skills by actively supporting projects and programs that enable breakthrough results for Ecolab’s businesses.\nWhat you will do\nUnder direct supervision you will be responsible for providing support to IT users.\n\nYou will use basic analysis techniques to troubleshoot and resolve incidents as well as assisting in performing root cause analysis on problems.\n\nUsing remote control software, you will provide onsite and cross-border support.\n\nConduct regular interaction with IT users using customer service skills and communication skills.\n\nWork with other support functions on projects and activities related to IT.\n\nLiaise with partners and vendors on IT related user support. Like for example, open incidents with HP support for hardware maintenance.\n\nConform with ITIL processes and ensuring that all incidents are addressed efficiently, and proper system logging is maintained.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform basic incident and problem analysis as required to resolve incidents and requests.\n\nPerform hardware and software change requests as assigned\n\nPerform implementation support as required.\n\nAttend end user meetings as requested to provide local support to users.\n\nWork with IT and Global support teams to act as a local IT resource as required to ensure regional infrastructure is maintained at a high service availability level.\n\nQualifications & Skills\nDegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other relevant area\n\nFluent in Spanish and English language (verbal & written communication).
