In this role you will be responsible for a variety of assigned duties, including order picking and/or packing, order processing and other logistics support roles.\nWhat’s in it For You:\nThe opportunity to take on some of the world’s most meaningful challenges, helping customers achieve clean water, safe food, abundant energy and healthy environments\n\nThe ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth\n\nThe support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives and ideas to achieve our best\n\nComprehensive benefits including medical, dental and pension plan\n\n What You Will Do:\nManually pick full-case orders and stack them onto pallets using a scanner/tablet\n\nEnsure proper staging and identification once an order has been completely picked\n\nUse various pieces of equipment (manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, reach truck, and propane lift) to move pallets\n\nVerify quantities, quality of items and proper labeling of products that are being shipped\n\nExamine all packaging and contents of items for conformance to customer specifications and verify all information against the packing list and SAP\n\nCoordinate with other departments such as customer service, production, instant and small pack\n\nShipping box assembly\n\nShipping box induction for packing\n\nShipping label preparation and application\n\nTrailer loading of packed boxes and pallets\n\nIdentify items with a quantity discrepancy and promptly communicate with Supervisor and/or Lead\n\nMaintain the 5S cleanliness of the picking area and pull completed shrink-wrapped orders to the dock for LTL packers.\n\nFollow all safety procedures and policies.\n\nFollow all warehouse procedures and policies.\n\nPosition Details:\nThe main work location for this position will be Mississauga (Tomken Rd./Eglinton Ave.).\n\nPeriodically, the role will be required to work at the Mississauga (Tranmere Dr./Drew Rd.) location, based on business requirements\n\nCandidate must reside in: Greater Toronto Area\n\nWork week and shift: Day Shift, Monday to Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm. Periodically, you may be scheduled for the afternoon shift, based on business requirements\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or G.E.D. required\n\n3 years logistics experience\n\n3 years reach lift fork truck experience\n\nFork truck certification or ability to be certified\n\nMust be able to accurately perform basic mathematical calculations\n\nMust be able to follow both written and verbal directions\n\nNo immigration sponsorship is available for this role\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to lift and carry 50lbs\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrevious experience in a warehouse environment performing shipping and/or receiving responsibilities\n\nBe able to properly utilize a manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, reach lift and/or sit-down forklift\n\nA minimal level of analytical ability is required\n\nStrong communication skills and teamwork\n\nThis is a new position.\nAnnual or Hourly Compensation Range:\n$26.44 / hour.
