This role is based at our state-of-the-art manufacturing site in Llantrisant, Wales.\nWork in Ecolab, Purolite Resins' Llantrisant Manufacturing Facility to ensure all mechanical, electrical, and associated plant equipment is safe, functional, and fully maintained to the highest standards. Carry out comprehensive mechanical troubleshooting and repair as a primary function, whilst supporting electrical and instrumentation tasks to ensure seamless production and deliver manufacturing output targets.\nThis role is suitable for candidates with a strong maintenance background who also possess or are developing electrical and instrumentation competencies.\nWhat is in it for you:\nThe opportunity to take on some of the world's most meaningful challenges, helping customers achieve clean water, safe food, abundant energy and healthy environments.\n\nThe ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth.\n\nThe support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives and ideas to achieve our best.\n\nWhy choose Ecolab, Purolite Resins?\nA world leading international organization, benefiting from a diverse, multinational team.\n\nA fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly growing environment.\n\nManufacture of high-quality technical products developed together with leading minds in the industry.\n\nEntrepreneurial workplace culture with a flat management structure, encouraging new approaches and ideas.\n\nWhat you'll do:\nEnsure the continued upkeep of the Llantrisant Manufacturing Facility for all mechanical, rotating equipment, piping systems, and associated electrical & instrumentation equipment through a hands-on approach.\n\nProactively carry out preventative maintenance, support service visits, mechanical inspections, alignments, and other measures primarily focused on mechanical integrity, whilst supporting electrical and control system tasks.\n\nDevelop maintenance procedures and other Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental documentation as necessary, with a focus on mechanical safety and operational integrity.\n\nWorking safely on site and adhering to health and safety procedures for maintenance work.\n\nWork with Process Engineers, Plant Engineers & other production R&D staff on troubleshooting and improvement projects, often leading on mechanical fault analysis.\n\nEnsure all Maintenance (internal & contractors) work, both mechanical and electrical, is carried out correctly, safely and recorded as per the procedures.\n\nAct as a key stakeholder in the facility and be available for remote support and call out - process to be defined.\n\nAny other reasonable duties as required by management of the company.\n\nWorking Hours: Shift pattern (4 on 4 off NIGHTS / 12 hour shifts).\n\nWhat you'll need:\nStrong experience in fault finding and repair of mechanical systems, including pumps, agitators, pipework, valves, seals, and rotating equipment.\n\nExperience with mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical control/automation systems.\n\nExperience with three-phase motors, drives and instrumentation involving flow, pressure, temperature, and level measurement.\n\nAbility to read and understand mechanical, electrical, and P&ID drawings.\n\nAbility to write clear effective reports and procedures.\n\nAbility to follow complex work instructions and document completed work accurately.\n\nAbility to work at heights, handle and work with heavy equipment.\n\nBasic workshop skills, including fitting, welding (desirable), and fabrication.\n\nHNC qualified in an engineering discipline or time served apprenticeship with experience.\n\nDesirable but not essential:\nExperience of working in a chemical environment.\n\nExperience of Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance in hazardous areas.\n\n18th Edition Wiring Regulations desirable (demonstrating electrical awareness).\n\nFamiliar with DSEAR and ATEX zones.\n\nExperience of PLC systems, Control Panels, HMI's & SCADA Systems (preferably Siemens S7-1500).\n\nSpecific training or certifications in mechanical areas (e.g., rotating equipment, confined space, rigging).\n\nOur Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion:\nAt Ecolab, Purolite Resins, we believe the best teams are diverse and inclusive, and we are on a journey to create a workplace where every associate can grow and achieve their best.
