This will include technical support and troubleshooting, acting as a liaison between Production and Corporate Engineering / R&D on equipment specifications, quality testing parameters, and both technical and financial management of plant’s capital budget.\nWhat You Will Do:\nSupports fabrication and testing of all equipment to ensure compliance with the specifications provided by Corporate Engineering.\nPoint-of-contact for production associates on any equipment specification issues; communicate with Corporate Engineering as needed; ensure document changes are communicated and implemented.\nCreates and maintains manufacturing specific documentation, such as internal specifications, work instructions, or job-aids.\nTroubleshoots quality issues during fabrication and quality testing; documents failures and performs root-cause analysis.\nPlant’s mechanical point-of-contact for Engineering Change Management process, ensuring proper approval and implementation of change.\nConducts feasibility studies on production activities and plant improvements to promote lean manufacturing and meet Glenwood’s annual savings goal.
