In this role, you will apply specialized fusion welding techniques while ensuring all work meets stringent quality, cleanliness, and industry standards required in semiconductor and advanced manufacturing facilities.\nWhat’s in it For You\nWork with high-purity thermoplastic piping systems in a specialized fabrication environment.\nApply and expand your expertise in butt fusion and infrared (IR) fusion welding processes.\nCollaborate with production and quality teams to support successful project execution.\nContribute to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and cleanroom compliance.\nWhat You Will Do\nPerform welding and fabrication of plastic piping systems using approved fusion welding techniques.\nInstall and assemble high-purity piping, valves, fittings, and related components in clean environments.\nRead and interpret engineering drawings, isometric drawings, specifications, and installation procedures.\nPrepare and maintain materials in accordance with cleanroom contamination-control requirements.\nPerform pipe cutting, facing, alignment, and preparation prior to welding.\nInspect welded joints for quality, accuracy, and compliance with project specifications.\nMaintain weld records, traceability documentation, and quality control reports.\nOperate and maintain fusion welding equipment and related tools.\nFollow GMP, cleanroom protocols, and company safety policies.\nCoordinate with supervisors, team members, and quality personnel to meet project schedules.\nEnsure proper handling and storage of high-purity materials to prevent contamination.\nPosition Details\nDepartment: Chandler Fab Shop onsite in Chandler, AZ\nReports to: Production Manager\nWork Environment: Fab Shop\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nMinimum 2 years of experience in plastic pipe welding and assembly.\nExperience working in a cleanroom environment.\nAbility to read blueprints, P&IDs, and isometric drawings.\nStrong understanding of quality standards and contamination-control practices.\nAbility to use measuring instruments and inspection tools.\nNo immigration sponsorship is available for this position.\nPhysical Demands\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to work in cleanroom garments, PPE, and controlled environments.\nManual dexterity and visual acuity for precision welding and inspection tasks.\nPreferred Qualifications\nManufacturer certifications for thermoplastic fusion welding equipment.\nProficiency in Butt Fusion and Infrared (IR) Fusion welding.\nExperience with PVDF, PP-R, PP-H, and HDPE piping systems.\nOSHA 10 certification.\nCareers Advancing Ovivo by Ecolab’s Water Technology Solutions\nHelp shape the future of water and technology by joining a team that drives innovation in ultrapure water solutions -critical to industries powering global progress.
