This role is responsible for driving cost savings, supplier optimization, sourcing initiatives, and governance activities across a network of toll manufacturing partners. The position will work closely with the Regional Tolling Manager and cross-functional stakeholders to enhance supply resilience, standardize procurement practices, and deliver value aligned with regional business objectives.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport the development and execution of the IMEA toll manufacturing procurement strategy.\n\nLead toll manufacturer consolidation initiatives to optimize the supplier base and leverage regional spend.\n\nIdentify and implement raw material and packaging optimization opportunities to deliver cost savings and operational efficiencies.\n\nConduct regular price reviews, validations, and approval processes to ensure pricing competitiveness and compliance.\n\nCollaborate with toll manufacturing partners to identify, evaluate, and qualify alternative raw material sources that improve cost competitiveness and supply security.\n\nProvide sourcing recommendations and guidance on procurement channels, including third-party suppliers and intercompany sourcing options.\n\nPartner with the Regional Tolling Manager to develop and execute strategic sourcing projects, cost-reduction initiatives, and supply continuity plans.\n\nMonitor supplier performance, support contract compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the toll manufacturing network.\n\nSupport supplier negotiations, contract renewals, and governance activities to ensure alignment with procurement policies and business requirements.\n\nBuild strong relationships with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Finance teams to support business objectives.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.\n\nBasic level of experience/knowledge in procurement, strategic sourcing, contract manufacturing, or supply chain experience.\n\nBasic experience managing supplier relationships, negotiations, and cost-saving initiatives.\n\nStrong analytical, commercial, and project management skills.\n\nProficiency in SAP, procurement systems, and Microsoft Excel.\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\n\nAbility to work effectively in a regional, cross-functional environment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in contract/toll manufacturing procurement within the chemical, industrial, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors.\n\nKnowledge of sourcing, supplier consolidation, and should-cost analysis.\n\nExperience working across multiple countries within the IMEA region.\n\nProfessional procurement certification (CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent) is an advantage.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3290,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Supply Chain","Water Utilities","Chemical Manufacturing","Sterilization & Infection Control"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-27T11:46:19Z"}],"liveness":{"score":48,"band":"ok","label":"Likely open","p_open":1,"p_active":0.535,"p_room":0.9,"age_days":9,"expected_fill_days":25,"reasons":["conf:1","stale_co","velocity","win:mid","comp:junior,brand"],"computed_at":"2026-10-01T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/ecolab-procurement-intern","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/ecolab-procurement-intern.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-02T01:30:26Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":1807,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":3193,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-03T00:00:00Z"}}}
