We are seeking a qualified and experienced Production Planner to join our Production & Raw Material planning team at ourBedford Park, IL Plant. As a Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely production of orders and/or the procurement of raw materials to meet customer delivery schedules and maintain safety stock levels. What You Will Do:
- Planning production orders and raw materials to support on-time delivery to customers and maintain safety stock levels
- Participating in daily planning meetings and assigning priorities to production planning tasks
- Reviewing open order reports and ensuring production plan supports on time delivery to customers
- Updating production schedule based on vessels and production status and liaising with the Production team on the status of Process Orders
- Working cross-functionally with production, logistics, quality and maintenance to ensure issues are addressed to support schedule adherence
- Review and approve invoices for raw material orders
- Drive continuous improvement ideas across functions
- Complete ownership of inventory levels in assigned MRP
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, other relevant field, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in production planning and/or raw material planning, preferably in chemical manufacturing or similar industry
- Proficiency in ERP systems

Preferred Qualifications
- SAP Experience
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- APICS Certification
- Experience in chemical or similar industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong analytical, data analysis, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to navigate complex policy, process, and people-related organizational dynamics
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability for using a strategic mindset
Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The pay range for this position is $65,800.00 - $98,700.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.Benefits
