The Production Team Lead will oversee a team of operators across shifts, drive continuous improvement initiatives, support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities, and foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and operational excellence. This position plays a critical role in ensuring raw materials and finished goods meet engineering and product specifications while supporting plant performance and business objectives.\nWhat’s in it For You:\nFast-paced, results-driven work environment where you will manage a team of employees and all key operational metrics associated with the production area.\nOpportunity to develop leadership capabilities through coaching, mentoring, and developing employees while influencing performance across all levels of the organization.\nGain experience implementing TPM and continuous improvement best practices in a chemical manufacturing environment.\nWork for a company that values safety, sustainability, inclusion, innovation, and performance.\nComprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, company-paid pension, stock purchase plan, tuition reimbursement, and more.\nWhat You Will Do:\nLead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 10 operators in a batch chemical manufacturing environment operating on a DuPont schedule.\nExecute production plans to achieve safety, quality, productivity, cost, and service objectives while meeting budgeted standards.\nEnsure compliance with all internal policies, external regulations, environmental requirements, and safety standards.\nCreate and maintain a safe work environment by promoting safe behaviors, conducting risk assessments, and driving safety initiatives.\nMonitor and enforce quality control procedures to ensure raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods meet established specifications and standards.\nSupport and actively participate in TPM and continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and plant performance.\nRecommend and implement measures to improve departmental productivity, efficiencies, product quality, manufacturing methods, and working conditions while minimizing downtime.\nControl quality, yields, labor utilization, and production costs within established budgets.\nPlan, coordinate, and supervise daily production activities to ensure operational goals are achieved.\nBuild and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Quality, Logistics, Planning, and regulatory agencies.\nCommunicate plant priorities, business objectives, and operational expectations to employees across shifts.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to proactively identify and resolve quality, environmental, safety, and service issues.\nProvide formal and informal reporting on operational performance, production results, and key plant initiatives.\nPromote positive employee relations and maintain a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous learning.\nSupervise direct reports and support employee performance, training, and development activities.\nPosition Details (Location & Work Schedule):\nLocation: Fresno, TX\nMust be within commuting distance of Fresno, TX\nWork Schedule: DuPont rotating schedule consisting of 12-hour rotating shifts\nReports to: Production Manager\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; OR Bachelor's degree.\nAbility to work a rotating DuPont schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.\nImmigration sponsorship is not available for this position.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field.\nMinimum three years of experience in production supervision and/or quality control within a chemical manufacturing environment or related industry.\nExperience leading manufacturing teams and driving operational performance.\nTPM and continuous improvement experience.\nStrong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.\nExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.\nExperience managing production, quality, cost, and safety metrics.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.\nExperience with Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power BI, Power Automate, Teams, and SharePoint.\nExperience with SAP or other ERP systems.\nAnnual or Hourly Compensation Range\nThe pay range for this position is $74,700.00 - $112,200.00.
