You will lead a team of eight technicians and one principal chemist, providing direction, coaching, training, and development while fostering a culture of quality, accountability, and safety.\nWhat’s in it For You:\nOpportunity to lead and develop a high-performing Quality Control team.\nExposure to cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, engineering, and quality professionals.\nAbility to drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality and laboratory efficiency.\nWork within a global organization committed to safety, innovation, and operational excellence.\nCareer growth opportunities within a diverse and inclusive environment.\nWhat You Will Do:\nSupervise Quality Control inspectors, technicians, and laboratory personnel, including scheduling, coaching, performance management, and career development.\nDevelop and deliver training programs focused on inspection methods, measurement techniques, ISO 9001 requirements, equipment operation, laboratory safety practices, chemical handling, and emergency response procedures.\nMentor team members to strengthen technical capabilities and reinforce safe work practices.\nOversee inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications.\nReview, approve, and maintain inspection reports, laboratory results, and nonconformance documentation.\nEnsure accuracy, consistency, and timely completion of quality records and testing activities.\nIdentify and implement opportunities to improve laboratory workflows, reduce testing cycle times, and enhance testing accuracy and reliability.\nEvaluate and implement new inspection tools, testing methods, technologies, and quality practices to optimize operations.\nPartner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and other functional teams to drive process improvements and resolve quality-related issues.\nSupport root cause investigations and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).\nMaintain compliance with ISO 9001 standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality systems.\nSupport internal audits and participate in external customer and certification audits.\nPromote and enforce all safety regulations, policies, and procedures within the laboratory environment.\nConduct routine safety audits, risk assessments, and corrective action follow-up activities.\nPosition Details (Location & Work Schedule):\nFull-time position\nOn-site manufacturing environment\nMonday through Friday\nFirst Shift schedule: 6:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.\nPosition supervises a team of eight technicians and one principal chemist\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Quality Management, or a related technical field.\nFive years of Quality Control experience within a manufacturing environment.\nThree years of supervisory or leadership experience overseeing technical or laboratory personnel.\nTwo years of SAP experience, including entering laboratory results and processing material status movements.\nExperience with inspection tools, measurement techniques, and quality management systems.\nDemonstrated leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to support an on-site work schedule.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience working within an ISO 9001 certified manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.\nExperience leading laboratory operations and testing programs.\nAudit experience supporting internal, customer, and third-party certification audits.\nExperience implementing CAPA programs and quality system improvements.\nLean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience.\nProficiency with quality reporting and data analysis tools.\nAnnual or Hourly Compensation Range\nThe pay range for this position is $85,900.00 - $128,900.00.
