In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and shipping materials, maintaining inventory records and freight documentation, and transporting materials. You will contribute to a team focused on changing how the world views one of our most critical resources: water.\nWhat’s in it For You\nMake an impact by supporting operations focused on water, one of the world’s most critical resources.\nGain hands-on experience across shipping, receiving, inventory control, purchasing documentation, and material transportation.\nWhat You Will Do\nProcess receiving, shipping, purchase orders, item transfers, and product structure transactions as assigned.\nMaintain required shipping, receiving, inventory, and purchasing documentation and records.\nOperate a forklift and pallet jack.\nCompare vendor shipping documents with purchase orders to verify correct materials and quantities, and forward delivery tickets and invoicing to the appropriate accounts group.\nArrange cost-effective transportation of materials through commercial carriers.\nDeliver and pick up materials locally using a company-provided truck.\nMaintain purchasing department records, including purchase orders, packing lists, supplier files, and non-conformance history.\nPerform work in accordance with established safety procedures.\nComplete other duties as assigned.\nPosition Details\nDepartment: Chandler Fab Shop\nReports to: Fab Shop Manager\nTravel: No travel outside the Phoenix metro area is required.\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nValid driver’s license with a clean driving record.\nForklift driving experience.\nKnowledge of inventory control systems.\nProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.\nAbility to effectively resolve complaints and respond to sensitive inquiries.\nInventory control experience in a manufacturing or production environment.\nAbility to work with bills of material and product structures, job orders, warehouse pick lists, and shipping documents.\nAmerican Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) training.\nAnnual or Hourly Compensation Range:\nThe pay for this role is $25/hr Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.Benefits\nEcolab provides the following benefits: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, auto insurance, home insurance, pet insurance, identity theft protection, short-term and long-term disability, 401k, pension plans, retirement health care benefits, short-term incentives, vacation (12 days), holidays, parental leave, employee stock purchase plans (Full-Time Associates), discount on day care services and caregiver services, adoption assistance, group legal services, employee assistance program, employee discount program, and education assistance program, on-Site childcare and fitness facilities may be available at select Ecolab locations.
