You do not need experience with every tool we use.\nWhat’s in it For You\nDay 1 Coverage: Employer-paid comprehensive benefits, including dental, prescription drug, vision, paramedical coverage, and a $1,000 annual Health Spending Account.\nRRSP: 2% employer-sponsored contribution.\nEnjoy three weeks of vacation, six flex days, and a one-week paid company-wide holiday shutdown.\n $1,000 annual professional development allowance to support your ongoing learning, skill development, and career growth.\nDress for your day in a casual, professional environment.\nWork in a hybrid environment (4 days in the office).\nWhat You Will Do\nPartner with operations teams, engineers, and other users to understand business needs and define clear system requirements.\nDesign, build, maintain, and support user-facing and server-side applications using Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.\nDevelop practical tools and user interfaces that improve production workflows, reduce manual tasks, and support operational decision-making.\nBuild and maintain API integrations, automated workflows, and data pipelines between business and manufacturing systems.\nConnect applications with factory equipment, sensors, and Internet of Things and operational technology (IoT/OT) systems to collect data and support factory operations.\nWork with databases, write SQL queries, and verify data accuracy across connected systems.\nContribute to system architecture and clearly explain design decisions, alternatives, and trade-offs.\nDeploy, secure, monitor, and support cloud applications using containers, automated testing, and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.\nInvestigate and resolve application, integration, data, and access issues while coordinating changes with system owners and factory teams to minimize production disruption.\nReview code, maintain automated tests, document systems and support procedures, and drive the reliability, security, and continued improvement of assigned systems.\nMinimum Qualifications\nAt least 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships and co-op placements.\nDemonstrated programming ability in Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.\nExperience developing both user interfaces and server-side applications.\nPractical user interface and user experience (UI/UX) experience, including creating clear layouts, usable forms, and responsive screens.\nExperience with SQL, database design, data integration, data pipelines, and data analysis.\nExperience integrating systems through APIs, including implementing error handling, retries, and duplicate-prevention controls.\nDemonstrated understanding of software architecture and experience designing practical, maintainable solutions.\nExperience deploying, securing, monitoring, and troubleshooting applications in Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).\nExperience using Docker or similar container technologies.\nExperience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), including automated testing, build, and deployment processes.\nExperience using Git, GitHub, code reviews, and collaborative software development practices.\nCurrent practical experience with AI-assisted and agent-based software development, including assessing new tools and verifying the quality and security of generated code.\nDemonstrated experience independently delivering and supporting working software, with the ability to clearly explain individual contributions and key technical decisions.\nDemonstrated ability to learn unfamiliar technologies and business processes and adapt to changing requirements.\nClear communication and a collaborative working style, including the ability to contribute ideas, explain reasoning, respectfully challenge assumptions, and accept feedback.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience with Microsoft Azure, React and FastAPI.\nExperience with Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, and GitHub Actions.\nExperience with Microsoft Entra ID, single sign-on, and role-based access control.\nExperience with NetSuite, SAP Concur, FactoryLogix, Arena, or similar business and manufacturing platforms.\nExperience with manufacturing, quality, warehouse, or product traceability processes.\nExperience with Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and operational technology, including connected equipment, sensors, and production data collection.\nExperience working with large datasets and efficient data-processing methods.\nExperience supporting barcode scanners, tablets, or applications used on the production floor.\nManufacturing or industrial systems experience.\nWe thank every candidate in advance; however, we will contact only those selected for an interview.
