This team creates, implements, enhances and maintains multiple business applications including vendor hosted as well as Ecolab hosted solutions. These solutions support Ecolab GBS organizations around the world.\nWhat’s in it For You:\nThe opportunity to take on some of the world’s most meaningful challenges, helping customers achieve clean water, safe food, and healthy environments\nThe ability to make an impact and shape a career for local team members with a company that is passionate about growth\nThe support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives and ideas to achieve our best\nundefined\nundefined\nDrive technical excellence across multiple GBS solutions\nParticipate in technical design reviews to ensure high-quality platforms.\nDevelop and implement plans to fill skillset gaps on the team and within the broader global organization\nContribute to the technical roadmap by identifying gaps in our technical implementation and opportunities for improvement.\nIdentify and cross-train technical solution members within the team to provide platform support coverage\nDirectly manage all work flowing through the team\nFocus on timely delivery/issue resolution while ensuring quality, overseeing work through to acceptance by the originating team/requestor.\nEnsure that all work completed by the team undergoes thorough peer review, testing, and adheres to Ecolab best practices.\nMeasure performance of the team through reporting of KPIs and other metrics\nEstablish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide insights into team progress, delivery timelines, and individual professional goals.\nDevelop and maintain reporting frameworks to communicate team metrics and progress effectively to stakeholders.\nCommunicate clear expectations regarding work completion timelines, including prompt communication of any anticipated delays.\nGrow talent and manage team composition\nConduct weekly 1:1s with core team members to support their professional development.\nMake recommendations regarding missing or inadequately staffed skill sets to optimize team capabilities.\nHire, mentor, and grow passionate individuals who thrive in strong teams and facilitate the onboarding process for new members.\nProvide learning opportunities and guidance for team members.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Computer Science, MIS) or equivalent work experience\nMinimum 3 years’ experience managing teams\n5+ years’ experience supporting global IT technology solutions, where installation, upgrades, coding, performance tuning, support and administration were required\nExperience developing or supporting system integrations, ETL solutions\nExperience with applications running on Windows/UNIX Operating System\nExperience developing and managing SQL databases\nExperience working with third-party support teams and vendors\nAble to act independently, seeking guidance and advice as appropriate\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with SAP integrated applications\nExperience with SaaS solutions\nExperience with ServiceNow and ITIL principals\nExperience with Source to Pay or other global business services or shared services pillars\nExperience mentoring and professionally developing software engineers, with a focus on creating formal learning opportunities\nAdaptive to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks effectively\nStrong communication, interpersonal, and project leadership skills, with an ability to articulate and execute a philosophy for building effective, cohesive, and collaborative cross-functional teams\nAbility to think strategically while managing day-to-day execution\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail\nKnowledge of application concepts/make-up such as security, database, servers, networks and cloud & virtualization concepts\nA trusted partner at nearly three million commercial customer locations, Ecolab (ECL) is the global leader in water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services.
