Our global presence, unparalleled experience, and strong, trusted relationships allow us to create a valuable and profitable environment for our suppliers, customers, shareholders, and employees.\n\nWe are recruiting to fill the position below:\n\nJob Title: Accountant - MIS & Central Reporting\n\nLocation: Lagos\n\nJob Summary\n\nThe successful candidate will consolidate daily, weekly and monthly data from each entity, keep a single reliable source of figures, and support budgeting, forecasting and month-end close.\nThe role turns operational and accounting data into accurate, timely reports that management and the board use to run an agri-commodity export business.\nThe Accountant owns the Management Information System (MIS) and central reporting for the group's West Africa entities (Nigeria at this stage).\n\nKey responsibilities\n\nMIS Management:\n\nDocument MIS processes, data sources and report definitions.\nStandardize data templates, naming and coding across entities so reports reconcile.\nBuild and maintain pivot tables, dashboards and KPI trackers for management.\nMaintain and update the central MIS workbooks and dashboards (purchases, stock, sales, shipments, production and cash).\nCollect daily and weekly data from entity, procurement, warehouse and plant teams, and chase late or incomplete submissions.\n\nCentral Reporting:\n\nPrepare daily and weekly flash reports, such as commodity purchases (volume, price, cost per tonne), stock positions and shipments.\nPrepare schedules and analysis for various meetings and circulations basis CFO requests.\nPrepare the monthly reports, as required in the area of Purchases and Inventory.\n\nAccounting and Control Support:\n\nSupport month-end close: journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.\nTrack supplier advances, farmer and aggregator pre-financing, and inventory valuation.\nReconcile MIS figures to the general ledger and resolve differences.\nSupport external and internal audits with schedules and supporting documents.\n\nData Quality and Improvement:\n\nRun checks on data accuracy and completeness before reports are issued.\nSuggest and implement automation (Excel formulas, Power Query, Power BI) to cut manual work.\nKeep files version-controlled, backed up and access-controlled.\n\nQualifications and experience\n\nRequired:\n\nBachelor's Degree (or HND) in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field;
